it is Super Sketchy Sunday!!!

Can you believe that it is Sunday already? We've been having gorgeous sunny weather in the Pacific Northwest...it is about time...it was snowing on my way into work the other day.

Today is Super Sketchy Sunday over at 365 Cards! Hop over there and check out the sketch!!! My card today is filled with Amy Butler goodness...I will never tire of her stuff....love it. Today's sketch really made me think....it is definitely outside of my usual style...look at all of those patterns on one card...wow! I like paper pads because then you have a bunch of coordinating patterns all in one place..gotta love that. If you saw how I organize {I use that word very loosely} my 12x12's..you'd understand my tendency to lean towards paper stacks/pads/kits...

I thought I'd share a smidge of my workspace....really it is a glimpse of my latest organizational piece..the Making Memories Desktop Organizer! When I showed my boy and told him 'd' bought it for me, he said: "I gotta have a stern-talkin' to that man..you do not need anymore 'stuff'!" What the heck?!!! LOL!!! I gotta beat that attitude outta that boy...as crafters we can NEVER have too much stuff, especially Making Memories stuff...LOL.

Amy, I love this card. I have this tablet of paper too, have had it for what seems to be almost a year...haven't used it yet because i couldn't come up with a card design worthy of the paper. You card has inspired me to use my paper, thanks for the inspiration.

Gorgeous card!! Love the *patched* look you created with the different papers! Blue just makes me so happy!

LOL about your son, but he's wrong...'d' didn't buy you more stuff, he bought you something to put your stuff into! That's totally different! But, I am seriously impressed that he used the word *stern*!

I think your new organizer looks fab and fits in perfectly with the rest of your workspace--almost like it was meant to be. Ignore your son's warnings! ;)
