sweet chirps...

Happy Saturday!!

I'm a creature of habit...in a lot of things that I do...so this is late blogging for me...actually 'real time' as I always schedule my regular posts! I've been sooo busy and tired that I didn't have the energy to make my cards last night AND post them...kwim? I've said it before and I'll say it again, sometimes the blog posting takes longer than the actual creation of the card/project!

Anyways, onto some stuff'ola....

Regina over at The Cutting Cafe has been one busy chicklet...creating tons of new goodies!!!

Check out this All about Babies Printable Stamp Set:

I love them all...especially the sweet elephant!

I've been super proud of myself...using my 'older papers'...this circle scallop card is made with Basic Grey's Cupcake line. You can't tell from the pic but the hearts that are with the Sweet Baby text are glittered up with SU Dazzling Diamonds. This will go postal to a former co-worker of mine that is due with her first 'sweet baby' next week! She is having a boy so no pink on this card:)

Next up is an altered International Coffee tin...my co-worker is still chugging that down so I'm in constant supply of the tins...woot woot!

I teamed up Schlosser Designs Have a Tweet Day with American Crafts...

The tin is filled with chocolates....a sure way to 'chirp up' anyone:)
That's it for today...I'll be back tomorrow with my 365 Cards Super Sketchy Sunday card and some recent RAK's...

Hope you all have a magnificent Saturday!!!!

eat dessert first...

TGIF!!!!!

Sheesh, I need a vacation from my vacation...I'm trying to catch up at home and work is crazy busy....

Okay, enough about that...Let's Get Sketchy!!!

This week's sponsor is Papermom.com!

Be sure to pop over to Papermom.com...it is chock full of goodness!!!

The prize for is 3 Papermom.com Digi-images!

Here's the sketch...Bonus Challenge is to make a Birthday Card!

I'm still trying to stand by the "use what I got" motto....so I pulled out my Basic Grey for this one...

I paper pieced the PaperMom image and glitz'd it up with Kaiser bling. I used some fun Provo Craft chippie...shouldn't that be every girl's motto:

She always ate dessert first...

Just for fun I added a ZVA flourish.....

I don't make many Gate Fold cards...perhaps it is because they are so "fun" to photog...LOL.

I know that I've posted these pics earlier but I thought it was only fitting to share them again since they are my Get Sketchy peeps and today is Get Sketchy day!

me & Bree!

me & Shemaine!

I posted this over on the Torendi site but wanted to share it here too..

Making Memories has jumped into the vintage jewelry scene...and I couldn't be any happier!

Lookie what we got to do as a Make 'n Take!!

You can bet that I'll be jumping in with both feet and designing some jewelry...love how feminine the Making Memories new line is..
Have a super Friday!!!

sassy bloom...

Thursday...already?

I'm finally starting to get back into my normal groove of things...great time since it is almost the weekend!!! Although I'm still horribly behind on my google reader and commenting...

Today is my day over on the 365 Cards Blog...

Pam's challenge:

The 3 B's

Blue, Blossom, emBoss....

I decided to use FTL#75...

This is what I came up with...

The bloom is something that I learned to do at the Jillibean booth...6 layers of circles that you just scrunch up using the middle brad as your anchor. You can't see my brad but it is a delish clear rhinestone. I used my Sassy Wee Bundle Sunshine Lollipops. I ran the blue panel through with my Quickutz folder. The metal thank you is from J's...super easy smeasy but can someone tell me how in the heck do you pop these puppies in the mail?? LOL.

I hope you join me in this fun 365 Cards Challenge!!

More CHA pics...

I got to pack a ton of things into my luggage....I made everything fit...it took some fancy organization...

I wanted to share pics of what the fabbie Ivy gave me...she was a sweetie for picking me up from the airport and buying me dinner..thank goodness she dropped off bottled waters for me...that water from the sink looked a little too murky for my morning coffee:)

Okay, check it out...love the new Hero Arts Cupcake stamp! Isn't the cupcake sock packaging cute?!!

Okay, this is hilarious, Ivy gave me the very same Owlie towel that I gave her...LOL. The altered tin had the cream and anti-bacterial in it...

Fabbie Valentine's Day twill and my very own Domo...gotta protect him from my Boy who will try to Domo-nap him...

Here is something I bought...I used it on a Make 'n Take and loved it...I will love it, won't I girls???!!!! Because I have a ton of refills....Let me know if you love it...

I waited in a ginormous line to get this puppy from thee Tim Holtz! Totally worth it and whatta trooper he is for taking a ba-gillion pictures with a bunch of crazy women...LOL.

I picked this up at the SuperShow...I don't know why I didn't buy a bunch of these...

I bought these from Paulina at the DeNami booth...coffee stamps and sherbet-y buttons...

Hmmm...I bought the baker's twine but picked up the rest at the Trade show...check out the sweet My Cute Stamps spiral notepad! I got to test out the Slice and made that decorated dish towel...

Making Memories did a fabbie job with the freebies...they had thee cutest bag {messenger style} and a Slice apron...Pins were everywhere so I loaded them up onto my messenger bag...sorry no pic of that or the apron...

More goodies...that bag is filled with buttons..oy, can't wait to dig through it and organize...

woot woot...I got to meet Shemaine. We are on the Get Sketchy and Jacksonbelle Design Teams together...sooooooo fun to finally meet her!!!!

Psst....Holly and her My Cute Stamps is directly behind us...I got to meet her too!

GCD Studios and Melody Ross...rocks...

I met up with Lori Roop!

If you've had a chance to pop over to Torendi, you would have read that I didn't have time to do the GCD Make 'n Take so Lori gave me her necklace...soooooo SWEET!!!!

This was a Ginormous display....

Buttons...gotta love it!

Oh good grief, Mark Montano was CRACKING me up!

Yup, I got my very own signed copy....{this is when I tell you that this isn't a petite book...it is 384 pages...made my luggage incredibly heavy but worth it...LOL}
Okay, that's it...I couldn't believe how many pictures that I ended up taking while at CHA...I know that I missed out on a ton of booths but what I was able to see...I LOVED.

Okay, off to catch up on my blurfing and watch American Idol:)

Torendi's CHA Employee...

Make sure you pop over to the Torendi site for my CHA report...

I'll be back tonight with some more pics...which will include my stealth ninja shopping purchases...LOL.

You're so Sweet...

Happy Wednesday!

Here's a card I made last week....here are a couple things I know...I have a horrible memory...

I don't 'think' I based this off of a sketch....but maybe I did since I'm a sketch queen...but for whatever reason, I can't seem to remember...so for now, we'll say that I didn't:)

Another card for my Thank You pile that I didn't end up taking with me on the flight down to Cali...{yipes, still have to write out my thank you's!!} good thing because I wouldn't have wanted to deal with packing them for the flight home...my luggage was PACKED...thank goodness for d's expandable luggage..oy...

Anyways, just a clean & crisp thank you...the base is Gmund...looks more terracotta but it truly is a kraft....the stitched layered papers are from Nook & Pantry and yes, I dehoarded a BG woolie....the rub on is from SU.

Hope you're have a great week so far!!!

Wouldn't you know that I'd show pics of Cosmo Cricket?!!! One of these days I'll get a fancy smancy camera.....but for now you'll have to bear with me and my point & shoot:)

I'll always love Cosmo Cricket for their great designs....

I have got to get some of the decorative pulls/knobs...I noticed those on several projects throughout CHA..

LOVE the Material Girl line...

Okay, this is where I edit that I don't like the pic of me...I was seriously trying to stifle some huge laughter because that fabbie Julie is kneeling....yup ladies, Julie in a dress is on the ground kneeling....poor Eric was trying to get her to stand but that girlie is about twice as tall as I am...LOL...tooooooo fun...and BTW, Julie looked magnificent...

Hero Arts...oh boy, love their stuff...

What's Perking?

LOVE it!!!

Okay, OMGoodness....me & Lisa Spangler...good grief...I've been a ginormous fan of hers...not just for her Hero Arts fame but for ALL her craftiness {Have you seen Orly & friends??!!!}...and her great photog skills...love her pics of Japan!

Pink Paislee is up next...okay, who wouldn't want to stock up on the Queen Bee line??!!

I'm a touchy feely 'shopper'...so I'm checking everything out...touching the stuff and I hear a "Can I help you with anything?"....I swing around and it is Caroline Ikeji!

Check out this Pink Paislee beauty...

Yup, another decorative pull/knob...

I'll take that birdie...
