5 x 5

Those Jingle Belle Girls are making me work...

Have Yourself a Merry LITTLE Christmas ... We are to feature Inchies and Twinchies in our design this week.

My title...5x5...are you wondering what that means?  No it isn't the size of my card for today...

My card is 5.5 x 5.5....hmmm....see that blue background of mine?

There are 5 inchies across by 5 inchies down which is a total of 25 inchies ladies....No I did not make 4 of this particular design since I stitched a TON on this puppy....all around the perimeter and down the lines of inchies...8 lines by 8 lines...does that make sense...anywho's it has a whole heckalotta stitching....the ornaments?  I picked them up at Ellen Hutson's....they are Basic Grey by Sizzix....LOVE them....all the paper is Echo Park's Everybody Loves Christmas....the sentiment is SRM and the bling is Kaisercrafts.

I finally broke down and bought a light tent...I'm still trying to get the hang of it and so I'll be playing around with it this week:)  Thanks to Heather that recommended this one....I have it set up in my garage...I FREEZE out there so I try to do everything quickly..LOL.  I do need to put the manufacturers white backdrop in there...right now there is cardstock and you can tell...grrr...but dang the one that came with the tent is horribly wrinkled and I wasn't patient enough to sit there and iron all that out...live and learn Amy...Live and learn...

I use a piece of poster board in my light box because I didn't like the wrinkles of the fabric piece. I just cut it the width and curved it in from the base to the top. An oh my goodness ... you weren't kidding when you said you were going all-out on the inchies ... what an amazing stitched background ... and those ornaments ... now you're making me regret that I didn't get them ... fabulous card ... thanks so much for joining our Jingle Belle fun.

Amy, I love, love this card! And holy caw, did you do a lot of stitching, my friend! I've been wanting a light tent for some time now, but I just can't figure where ti install it, so tiny is my house, lol!

Oh wow, you truly did make a quilt out of your inchies with all that stiching. How wonderful! I had the same problem with the light tent my DH got me for Christmas. It's not the same one as yours but it came with 4 backdrops and they were wrinkling as all heck. I steam pressed two of them with pretty good results, but I won't be folding them again! I know they will be much easier to keep wrinkle free rolled and in a tube.

It is set up in your garage? You are one dedicated photographer Amy! NO WAY would I trek through the snow and cold to take photos in my garage!
But this card is fabby, and I bet you are exhausted after making so many of them!

Have fun experimenting with your light tent! I created one using an old carton box with my desk lamp for lighting..hee hee..

You got me laughing out real loud with your craft hallway, ROTFL... I'm taking it one step at a time...first I need to conquer my hubby's territory in the 'our' study :P
