happy birthday to you...

You should have arrived here from Kim's blog:  think fast

If not, you'll want to start at the Skipping Stones Design blog so that you don't miss any of the fun!

Our sketch for the week is by the most fabulous Kim Kesti who is our July Sketch Artist!
The Design Team is featuring the newest Skipping Stones Design set:

Aren't all the details simply gorgeous on this set?  That bloom is sooo pretty...

Here is my take on Kim's sketch:
recipe
If you look closely...you'll see that the bloom has been fussy cut...the panel that has the birthday sentiment is actually a ring...not a full circle.

Before I send you off hoppin'...I have to do a birthday shout out to my boy...my baby turns 14 today...I can't believe it.  Anyone that knows him would agree that he is a whipper snapper...truly sweet, empathetic, creative, funny...all rolled up into a fabulous guy....so very proud to have him for my boy...I love him to pieces!

This was taken earlier this year when we took a trip to Manzanita:

This is a pic that my brother took of me and the boy on Saturday...he's grown a ton since earlier this year...

Okay, thanks for letting me gush about my kid:)

Off you go to Barb's blog:  Barb's Boys Inspired
