...make a wish...

Hello!  This is week 2 of 2 for my Guesting over at simply scrapping crafts!

The Craft's Meow is their July Sponsor!

Here's the current challenge:

Week four - color challenge
NO white/cream colors on your card!

I didn't think that I was going to have any difficulties but of course when you can't use something, then that's what you tend to try to use them:)

So, I stayed with kraft and black with a pop of color:
Butterfly Kisses is one of my FAVorite sets from The Craft's Meow:

I teamed it up with The Craft's Meow, Simply Delightful:

A ginormous thank you to the gals over at Simply Scrapping Crafts for having me along for the fun ride!!!
I hope that you'll play along!

I'm also going to sneak in my weekly Jingle Belles card...

This week Ros Crawford came up with a fab challenge...Oh HOLE-y Night!

to make aperture (or "window") card

I was able to make my card speedy quick....

LOL...can you guess why it took me no time to put this together?!  I did actually use my spellbinders to make the window and the white frame for the window...

No sewing...gasp!  I was in multi-tasking mode and it completely slipped my mind...I didn't realize it until I had edited the pic and uploaded it into the post...by that time, there is no going back and the fact that I had used my ATG and glue dots...no peeling off those layers.

Ha! It's so true that when you can't have or use something you want it more than ever! Well you resisted the white/cream perfectly showing that Kraft is a gorgeous neutral. Love the pop of pink!
D'ya reckon you've nearly done all your Christmas cards? I love seeing them - constantly reminding me of how I'll be leaving it all to the last minute LOL!
Hugs!

Love your card! That image is so cut, and I love the little details!
And LOL, I totally know what you mean! I can do cards without white or cream, but this one was a hard challenge, just because I was challenged NOT to use either! ;)
