Karma...I believe that things happen for a reason.

me and darin

We were meant to be together...

Where has he been all my life...

well, doing his thing...living his life...

while I was doing my thing...and living my life.

He was meant to come into my life when he did...

There was a year that was filled with life events...some good, some bad...some very bad.  I believe I needed those couple of years in between to find out about myself...realize that things happen for a reason...to realize what I wanted out of life and who I wanted in my life.

definition from the Urban Dictionary:

karma

The Buddhist belief that whatever you do comes back to you, e.g. if you do something good, something good will happen to you, and vice versa.

Darin is my "something good"...

Join me in some scrappiness?  This is what is up for grabs to a random winner...I'll collect all the entries from Scrappy Saturdays 1, 2 & 3....

This is just beautiful, Amy! I love the whole topic and really love the design. These colors are so ringing my happy bell. The kraft background mixed with the blue and brown is fabulous. You've got some of my most favorite things on here, too....polka dots, stitching, and the doily. SO gorgeous! Love those stars. :)

What an awesome post--I loved reading the backstory behind your LO. And yes, you're making me think about giving a LO a whirl.

How is it that I'm just now becoming a follower of your blog? I'm kicking myself for not partaking of your eye candy sooner.

Ok, so---I want to start scrapbooking again. It's been YEARS!!! I love having books to flip through so I need to just start. Maybe, maybe I'll give it a whirl. A layout every other week? Is that a reasonable goal for a lazy bones like me? We'll see. I'm definitely bookmarking this...
