happy birthday...

Hello and Welcome to the Skipping Stones Design Sketch Challenge!  Gotta love our Guest Sketch Artist for August, Teri Anderson.....she's fabulous:


I did ponder this sketch for a smidge and was going to cut into patterned paper and do some layering until I thought:  Doilies!

    I love how you interpreted this sketch... the doilies are just the perfect touch!
    What a great stamp set... so adorable! The hair definitely looks like mine in the morning. I have to run to the bathroom and fix it before the Penmaker sees me.

    ps: loooooooooove this card, love the sketch, am now confidently predicting 97% of all cards submitted will use doilies in what will later be referred to as "the tsuruta technique" and become the standard for doily usage on cards. LOVE IT!!! ♥♥♥!
