Happy World Card Making Day...The Craft's Meow: October Release blog hop!

Happy World Card Making Day and Welcome to The Craft's Meow October Release Blog Hop!!!

You should have arrived here from the FAB Alice Wertz's blog:

If not, you'll want to start at The Craft's Meow so that you don't miss out on any of the fun!

In recognition of World Card Making Day, all of our card kits... and our Maya Road shadowbox kit...are on sale for 35% off!!! That's right!!! No coupon is necessary... the prices shown in the store are the discounted prices. There are VERY limited quantities and they will not be re-stocked, so be sure to order quickly! You will LOVE creating cards in the style of Sarah Martina Parker, Jessica Fick and Alice Wertz!

I decided to do an altered project today.  I received a small oval paper mache box with a gift a couple years ago.  I've saved it with the intention of decorating it and thought that the sweet birds from the Happy Fall set would be perfect!

The birds are paper pieced with Jenni Bowlin and the other patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird Collection.

To make my altered box 'snappy' I used button top wood plugs for the feet.  I'm going to stash some chocolates in it for when I need the extra mojo when crafting:)

This is perfect for the current LESSology Challenge:

The Challenge ends on Sunday at 11:59 EST so you have some time to link up.  My upcycled item is the paper mache box:)

How would you like to win ALL FIVE of the October release The Craft's Meow stamp sets???? All you have to do is hop around and take a look at what the amazing design team has created with the new stamp sets and then go back to The Craft's Meow Blog and leave a comment on the Welcome to our October Release Blog Hop post!
