surfin' thank you...

Hello!

So I have a little story for you....I created this card on Sunday:

I typically craft 1 weekend day and when time/energy allows me, I'll craft during the week.  That doesn't typically happen because my commute home can sometimes be 1.5 hours {like last night}.  Anywho's...I was pretty proud of myself, getting all my DT projects in the allotted time that I had given myself.

This Sparkle Creations card {I'm guesting over there this month} is inspired by the Card Patterns sketch:

I was also patting myself on the back for using some older BG papers that I haven't used much of...Obscure...which I think matches the Sparkle Creations Surfing Oliver:

I also added some vintage Cosmo Cricket Snorkel chippies and an EAD Designs/Paper Smooches Co-branding Thank You Sentiment Rub-Ons...

I had obviously gotten myself into some type of auto-pilot mode because I neglected the Sparkle Creations Inspiration Challenge:

{shaking my head}...Good Grief Amy!  I don't do that very often...if you saw my Sparkle Creations blog post from Monday evening, you would have seen that I managed to whip up a much more appropriate card {rolling my eyes}...

I gotta set up my light tent...I've been photog'ing differently because the tent has been packed up due to the g-sale last weekend.

Okay, who is going CKC-Bellevue?

I was talking to my neighbor Michele {Hi Michele....thanks for swinging by my g-sale and helping me to dehoard!}....we were talking about the CKC Bellevue event coming up and then one thing lead to another and I'm volunteering that Saturday morning...so if anyone is planning on attending on Saturday...I'll be at the Pre-Registration table that morning...so make sure you stop by and say:  Hiya!

Another really fabulous card, Amy! I think you are just so busy, why would you not get things confused. But what fun you are having, other than the commute, that would be tough! Hope the commute is better today. Have a good evening.

With a commute that long, you must be dead by the time you get home... how do you find time to leave all your comments? You are an amazing lady!

Totally adorable!! Don't feel bad either- I do the same thing, only remembering parts of DT challenges and thinking I'm on the ball. I hate it when that happens!

I am seriously in awe of how many different manufacturers' items you have that you not only remember, but you're able to combine them rather easily!!! PLEASE come over and help me organize in that manner!! Just love the elements you gave this card! I'd give a toe to see you at CKC Bellevue!

Girl, I don't know how you do it! I could barely stay up with one DT and here you are cranking out fabulous cards for multiple ones.

Great card, he is a cutie! You could have been inspired by the water in the vases...just sayin' :)
