thank you so much...

Well Hello There.

I'm behind...as my Google Reader almost hits the 700 mark....The weather here in the Seattle area has been challenging....snow turned into ice storms...loss of power...ugh.

So today will be hopefully catch up for me....here's a card I did when I was without power:

White card base = check
stitching = no power {grr}

If you didn't know, I do not like camping...I enjoy my modern day conveniences like power and heat.  I'm a very ritualistic girl... interrupt those said rituals and you have a cranky girl...seriously.
So although I feel like this card looks nakey without stitching, the colors make me oh-so-happy.  The center Maya Road rub-on is compliments of my bloggie friend Jeni Allen.

I was inspired by the latest Sweet Sunday Sketch:

I'm still working on Valentine'ish cards...

Check this one out:

Dontcha love that gray chevron base?  I picked up a package at Impress...they are a fun 3.5 x 6.5 inch size!  I'm back with a vellum piece...I had an extra vellum butterfly that I embossed with my quickutz polka dot folder..the same one that I used on the lower portion of the white tag.  The tag itself seemed so lonely so that pop of red on the top is Martha Stewart washi tape:

I also glitzed up the tag by adding scor-tape and martha glitter....the pre-threaded button is Sassafras.

So today will hopefully be filled with some crafting and also some organizing of the family room:)  What are your plans?

Ooh, bummer, so sorry to hear about your power loss, Amy! I have to admit I'm not a big fan of that, either. Love the cards you made. That gray chevron print is stunning. Love the glam tag with the embossing and glitter, and that vellum butterfly is fabulous. And man, do you ever rock the Echo Park. Every single project you've made with this line is out of this world!

Amy, I am 100% not a campy girl either. I love my rituals...and modern conveniences so I can relate :)!

I love the colors on your first card. Beautiful!

I'm trying to get down to my craft room today as we had ice overnight so the boys activities were cancelled for this morning. But unfortunately the sunlight is showing that I really need to give the house a good clean before I can do that!!

Okay, one, love the Basic Grey shout out card, swoon... 2, bummer about the power and 3, I knew you'd be all over vellum once you opened the pack, love the embossed butterfly.

If you can't see something just shine that bright card on it and you'll be fine! :) Love the colours and the rub on is gorgeous. I like the not overly Valentiney Valentine's card especially that pop of washi tape!

I just finished cleaning and am waiting for Luis to get back from having his hair cut so we can go grocery shopping, etc. Stay warm out there and hope the power's back soon!
