Good Afternoon

I super   the Konnichiwa line by Basic Grey.

The Konnichiwa flower image, by Hero Arts/Basic Grey, has been heat embossed in white.  The ribbon image, which has also been heat embossed in white, is Hero Arts/Studio Calico.

You may remember that I received a $50 shopping spree to Hero Arts....wooooo hoooo....decisions...decisions...One of my purchases was the 6x6 Konnichiwa pad..love that they carry the paper collections that match their stamps.

I was inspired by the latest retro sketch:

Still playing with the Hero Arts fans with this month's theme

thanks to my bloggie buddie Janice that pointed out the new Young Crafters Unite challenge:

I'm recovering from my daughter's birthday festivities...she went out with a group of her friends on friday night and had dinner and saw The Hunger Games....I made them all pancakes with strawberries & whip cream and bacon for breakfast yesterday.

In the afternoon the kids and I drove to Seattle, swapped out a pair of Toms I got the girl for a different size and had dinner at the

Talk about delish homestyle food....

Afterwards we met up with some fab friends and had gelato...She opened up the rest of her presents at 9:38 pm, which is the exact time she was born...a ton of fun for my girl that turned 17.

Another happy one!!! Gees, I really got behind this past week...I am going to blame internet. 30 mins with customer svc on Fri. and I still have a connection that decides to kick me off every few minutes. Of course I am on about a 10 min streak so I shouldn't complain.
