10 minute craft dash: need to venti?

I'm thrilled that the fabulous Ginny Larsen and Paulina Nakamura have asked me to help kick off their first

10 minute
craft dash!

For challenge #1, there are no specifics...just make a tag, card, project, etc...it just has to be completed in under 10 minutes.

Challenge starts: Wednesday, August 15, 2012
Deadline: August 25, 2012, 11:59 pm Pacific
Prize: sampler of twine

I gathered my supplies together...or what I thought would be my supplies {grin}

time saving items:

pre-scored card
{see those blue splotches...I didn't mist those on purpose...I was going to use them to my advantage but then ended up just covering them up}

coordinating collection
{I used Basic Grey's Paper Cottage}

This is the end result:

Can you see what I added that I hadn't already anticipated?

Paper Smooches stamps
twinery

Even factoring in the stitching {which is downstairs in the sewing area...aka dining room table} heres my time:

7 minutes 10 seconds

BAM!

Under 10 minutes with time to spare...minutes even!

I thought of adding more schtuff but then cringed at the thought that I would make a mistake and then go over the time allotment....

Such a fun challenge as I tend to get distracted...real easy like....so what should only take well, 10 minutes can take hours...LOL...you know...

oh yeah, my day job {sigh}

I know I'm not alone here.

I felt super accomplished.

I can't wait to see what you design in 10 minutes!

What a fun challenge! And love your adorable card, Amy! That sentiment and matching coffee cup always makes me smile. Love the cup layered on that little tag, too. I really should try this just for kicks, and see how far I could get in 10 minutes. Maybe if I planned the entire project in my head first, I could do it........;)

I love this idea! A little intimidated by the time frame - good thing photographing & editing don't count, lol! Can't wait to play.
I love what you've ended up with - the twine & tag are fab, and anything with coffee is my kinda thing :)

Fantastic card. Only 5 min, I already had the circles cut and the card cut. All I needed to do is just crease, put on the washi tape, circles and go. Thanks for your visit and sweet luv.

What a Fantastic Card and in an Incredible Time Frame. I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me, Does the 10 minutes start after you have all your Stuff together or are you meant to get everything together AND make the Card in under 10 Minutes in which case this is probably not a ME Challenge. Does Anyone know the Answer?
Wonderful Job. Bev.......
