Happy Blogaversary Amy! I can't imagine a crafting world without you! My cards are stored in plastic shoe boxes by catagory.

Frolic...the very WORD sounds happy! Happy blogaversary, Amy :)
How do I store them?
Recently made cards are in a wooden box on top of my desk (until they are photographed). Then they are kept stacked in clear shoebox-size containers by category. The shoeboxes then go inside a big Rubbermaid tote for hauling back & forth to the market. Christmas cards go in a cheesy red & green basket :) I do have pictures somewhere...I shall email them!

Yay!! Congrats on your blogversary! Time flies! I kept all my cards in a basket that I bought from Ikea.

Hi Amy! happy anniversary :) I store my cards in photo boxes...but I give a ton away - teacher gifts, hostess gifts, work recognition...so I normally only have a box - right now two because of Christmas cards!

Whoo Hoo!! Congrats Amy and happy blogaversary to you!!!!
I store all my cards in photo boxes inside plastic sleeves so they don't get damaged.... separated into themes...it works but my craft space is overrun with cards...LOL!! I plan on making a basket with a bunch of them for a fundraiser at my son's school...some gone there but MANY more still here :)

Just wanted to say congrats, Amy! 5 years of amazing inspiration. I'm so glad to have found your blog when I did. Wish it was 5 years ago. ;) Your cards always make me smile!

I keep the most recent ones I have made in a wicker basket on a table in my craft room. Once that is full I sort them out into their proper box. I buy the photo storage boxes at Michael's and them use dividers inside for the type of card. Since I tend to do blank front panels without sentiments and birthday cards the most those two have their own boxes.

All Christmas cards are in a gold holiday sleigh (I think it originally was filled with Christmas food gifts at work and I gave it new life); my regular cards are in a clear shoebox tub with current themes at the front and others (st pat's day, valentines) at the back ... it also has a section for upcoming birthday cards that I've made ahead with post-it note dates so I don't forget; I also keep a box of random cards at my desk at work for card occasion emergencies (baby, birthday, sympathy).

I have the same problem you do! Lots of bags and boxes of cards! It's crazy! I need help! LOL!

I store my cards two in a bag and put them upright into a Tupperware. When it is full then I give them away. But before they were everywhere...Thanks for the fun giveaway..

Congratulations on 5 Years of awesome blogging. Your posts always put a smile on my face.
I have my cards in a photo box that I take back and forth to work to sell. The extra money pays for more supplies!!

HAPPY 5th! LOVE that cute little paper pad! I have one of those IRIS card keepers http://www.containerstore.com/shop/giftWrapWonderland/holidayStorage?productId=10023589
but don't love it. HARD to go through them! I have piles everywhere. My preferred storage is in one of those $2 sterilite 6 quart containers and just line them up.

A few years back I found some wood containers (originally for recipes I think) that are the perfect size for A-2 cards. Inside are dividers that I have labeled with categories i.e. birthday, anniversary, thank you. For my OWH card, I just store them in a A2 envelop box until it is time to sort them into categories.

thank you for the chance to win some yummy goodies

Congratulations again , Amy, I know it is hard work and you are so professional about keeping up with your blog. As for my cards, the oldest are stored in boxes just wide enough that they can stand up. The newer ones are in drawers in a tall chest my daughter, Amy, gave me from Hobby Lobby. I have one drawer just for Etsy cards and all lay flat. I have been trying to give them away as I have so many! Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Oh my...the same question I have been asking myself!!! Cant wait to read all the comments you receive!
Currently I have my cards in a couple of large baskets and setting on top of a cabinet in my craft room. I need some organization here!!!
Happy Blog Anniversary Amy! I truly adore you blog!
Lisa Fulmer said…
congrats on 5 years - I keep the newer cards I just made on display for inspiration - I have two little pie-wedge corner shelves above my desk. Then they eventually go vertically into a basket on top of my paper drawers for using or selling.

Hi Amy!

I put all my cards in a clear shoebox. It's not fancy, but it works! Thanks for sharing!

Congrats on 5 years, Amy! I have a terrible system as well for all my cards. Piles and piles of them shoved here and there. I need help, too!

Hey Amy!
I am a new follower! I store my cards in a clear plastic shoe box. But I don't have too many... the best way I found not to have too many is to give them out! Who doesn't love a hand made card ;)
Cheers!

I need some organizational tips too! Right now, i store all my cards in 2 big baskets, one for Christmas, and the other for All Other Occasion. I guess it could be worse, but it could really need some improvement! :) Happy Blogaversary and thank you so much for the chance to win that pretty collection!

Oh... and Happy Blogaversary!!!

Ha! I am right there with you Amy! I have a stack that are to be sent for Vera Yates' drive and also a stack for OWH, but the rest of the oddly shaped ones are just kind of hanging around....it's sad, but I don't send my cards that often. When my sisters come to town, I send them off with piles because they are letter writers....

Congratulations!!! Very cool blogoversary badge. So creative. I store my cards in one of those card storage boxes, nothing fancy I had a set of tree black ones before I even started making cards and one day realized it was the pefect size for my cards, I added tabs to organize them by occassion and that is it. One box. when I can't fit any more in that box. I know is time to give away a bunch at a time. I donate to operation write home here and there, also last year I made little packages of like 12 cards to give away for Christmas and I was already asked to plase do that again because it was super awesome and handy for them. Also earlier this year I gave a lady from my church a a few cards of every occasion I had as a thank you for her kindness and something unexpected happened, she showed those cards to other ladies and those ladies ordered cards from me! I was able to empty my box that much more and had fun getting creative making cards with very specific requests and got paid for it. Very awesome!
Yay congratulations!!! Love being one of your followers! For storing I have some photo boxes, but my newest creations go out on display... and every so often I go through my boxes and send some to Operation Write Home. I also have just started an etsy store so fingers crossed when it opens up! Thanks so much!

Yay, Happy Blogaversary Amy and congratulations on 5 years!! My cards are stored in a couple of shoe boxes on my top shelf - I am really BAD and giving them to people :)

I don't keep many of my cards. I regularly take them to church for our church card ministry and I am collecting a batch of cards to send to OWH. I have a small basket on my craft desk of cards that I need to add the last finishing touches to.
Jennifer Rzasa said…
I store them in photo boxes. I just recently pared down my "collection" by shipping around 200 cards to OWH! I have a much more manageable amount of cards now. Good luck with your organization!
Tracey McNeely said…
Amy my house is over run with cards for sure. I pop each card into a clear re-sealable envelope and store them in bins sorted by category (this is new for me).
Karen B. said…
Ooh, I like Jen's idea, I have way too many in my shoe boxes that have been passed over one too many times by the ladies at work. I keep them in shoe boxes but I do have categories.

Congrats on 5 years! I do not have a picture of how I organize my cards but with the few that I do have I use photo album pages. My hubby put two hooks on the wall next to my crafting table and I hook up the 3 holed photo sheets (4x6,5x 6 and panoramic sizes) that hold my cards of varying sizes. I also try to organize each sheet according to theme...bday etc. Hope this all makes sense.

big congrats on 5 years girlie!!!!! well I have some plastic bins and store them in there, though right now they are full, so I am storing them on a shelf.. I really need another bin.. LOL!!!!

Happy Blogaversary! Finding a way to store all my cards can def be a challenge. My grams had some card organizer boxes she had received premade cards in and I was able to repurpose that. Recipe boxes work similarly. However I also just give away lots of cards when I am running out of places to store them.

Happy Blogaversary, girlie! I use a drawer in one of my rolling carts. And occasionally I go through them and ship off a box to Operation Write Home.

Oooooh...Happy Blogaversary!

I store all my cards in a paper box from Ikea. I don't make that many cards and I try to give as many away as possible! lol
Are they suppose to be organized? Mine are in two shoe boxes, but it's amazing that when I go looking for a card I "need" I can't ever find one... recently sold 34, so my boxes have a little breathing room. Organizing them by subject would be helpful...

Woohoo! Five years is awesome! I've got some in boxes, and a bunch piled on my drafting table- it's good for something then, right? Lol!

Happy birthday! It's been a good 5 years!! You rock girl! I store my cards in clear boxes....super special!😉
Plastic storage totes - I have a couple, because I need one for boxes I make too. I invite my Mom over to go thru the boxes and take whatever she wants :>)

Why don't you group some of your cards and give as gifts? I know my MIL wants cards as a gift this year - I typically do something related with paper or theme, but maybe this year she is getting an all occasion pack :>)

I think I've been following you for at least three of those five years! Congrats and keep on doing what you're doing as I do so enjoy your blog! I keep my cards in those inexpensive baskets that you can get from Michael's (using a 40% off coupon or waiting for their 50% sale on baskets). There's several that are the PERFECT size for holding 5x7 cards and I have a basket for EACH holiday/occasion so I can just reach out and grab a baby card or anniversary card when I need one!

Yay!!! Happy Blogaversary!! 5 years! That's so awesomesauce!

I store my cards in a wicker box type thing. When my mom or sister come over I shove the box at them and tell them to make me more room! They love it!

I store my favorite inspiration cards in clear bags, and then put them in a little bin on my expedit shelf. The other cards get neatly put in the bin, but no other consideration!

Congrats on your 5 years of blogging!! Wishing you many more years of bloggings =)

my cards get mailed off or they go in a box! ha

Happy 5th!

Most cards I make are for a designated purpose, so are given away. The ones I make for a challenge or 'just because' go in a clear shoebox. Sometimes they get used, mostly they sit. haha Good luck finding a solution!

Congrats on your 5 years, Amy!! That is so wonderful!! I've always loved to come here and you never stop to amaze and inspire me.

About the cards: mine are all in a box, somewhat divided per theme. But there bursting out of it at the moment, so might have to review that - lol.

Hey there, Amy! BIG congrats to you for your 5-year Blogoversary!
My organizational skills are legendary :-D I keep the cards I make in a photo box with tabs labeling each section~NOW.
PS: There are some in my craft desk drawers, in the closet stuffed in a wooden box and a few are scattered on top of my desk (which you may a well say are lost)!

Oh too funny! I use the photo boxes you can get a Micheals or Joann's for like $3 each. They go on sale often :) Congrats on the BIG 5 year mark!!!

congrats Amy! the cards i make are stored randomly. i have a few bins that i pile 'em into, but i need a better solution. i keep the bins in a barrister's bookcase which keeps them dust free with it's glass doors, but i'd like them to be better organized. i added pics to my blog for ya ;)

Happy Blog-versary!!! sorry that I am a couple of days late. thanks so much for sharing your talent with us and for being such a wonderful friend to so many of us even though we have never met! =) looking forward to seeing more of your fab work! I store my cards in the 15qt. plastic containers that Target sells. and yes, i have a few of them filled to the brim and more cards that are sitting around in cardboard shipping boxes... i guess that doesn't really help you with solving your problems... =)
