happy holidays x 4

Sunday....already?

The long weekend is just flying by!

Back in the day, before blogging, I use to mass produce my Christmas cards...same design x 50+.

I was insane.

...or it drove me insane.

I'm not a mass producer...I find it tiring and it squeezes the fun out of creating.

introducing mass production series 1

I'm especially proud of these cards because:

1.  My girl designed them
2.  I enjoyed making them in somewhat mass production mode
3.  It uses non-holiday Crate paper
4.  I love that glittery American Crafts paper
5.  I used ultra old MM rub ons for the sentiment
6.  Those trees were RAK'd to me by the fabulous Jen W.
7.  A somewhat postal friendly design

This is perfect for the current Paper Issues challenge:

I don't mass produce either. I do photo cards to send to everyone, then take my time and have fun with whatever I make.

anyway, these are gorgeous, and very classy!

Yikes! I haven't even started my shopping, let alone my cards. I try to make batches of 4-6 just to have a few different ones.
Your card is super! Love it. Your daughter is talented just like her momma. Do I see a future cardmaker?

A great collaboration between you and your daughter!

Totally understand about mass production. I recently participated in some card swaps and even making 12 of something got draining. However this card is beautiful and your daughter did a great job with the design.

Mass production is HELL. I do 6 at a time, and even then I find myself breaking it into 'related' sets of 3 (three vertical, three horizontal, etc). Gah.
This is AWESOME, and your daughter having the idea? Even better!
These are ADORABLE!! I loveeeeeeeeeee the trees!! And your daughter is FABULOUS for designing it for you!! SHE ROCKS!!!!!

Listing all the reasons why you love it makes me love it even more. It has all the things I love glitter, lined paper, texture, perfect stamping ( with the use of rub ones!) and a cool look!

Loving your Christmas Cards... ya, I don't really like mass producing cards too... even when I so-called 'mass produce' I still make sure something about each card is different.. hahahahaha... else, I get bored!

Kudos to your girl for coming out with a design! It's awesome, by the way! :)

Hugs!

Wow! This is a stunning design (your daughter is awesome!) and I love how the subtle colors make the tree pop. I also used to mass produce my Christmas cards and then I just couldn't stand doing the same thing time and again so I stopped. This year though, I'm back to making the same design over and over...must be why it's taking me SO long. ;)

These cards blew me away! I loved your itemized details, and especially how they used old rub-ons, non-traditional holiday paper, AND are somewhat postal friendly! That's always an issue with my cards!
