hello sunshine...

TGIF!!!!!

Another baby card...

I ended up giving yesterday's card up for the group gift!

The patterned paper and tag are from the American Crafts Soho Garden Collection!

I was inspired by the SFYTT:

I haven't played in ages...I just rotated the sketch:)

Can you believe that today is the last day of November?  Tomorrow is the start of December and the festivities are lining up...I have a couple holiday parties to attend!  How about you?

I'm also hoping to go here:

I'm also going to sit down and address my holiday cards this weekend...

Remember, I'll be posting my Sebastian Card Drive deets tomorrow...there will be prizes:)

baby girl...

babies...

Dontcha just love baby showers?

My boss is having a baby next month and this week is her shower...I scored on a load of CUTE stuff at Baby Gap....

Here's her card:

Yup...a baby girl!

One of my fav go-to Cameo cut file is the basic tag....

All the paper is October Afternoon Woodland Park.  Do you see that graph paper strip?  That's actually part of some OA packaging:)

I was inspired by the current retro sketch:

Last weekend Darin and I visited my cousin...she actually lives in the same small city but going out to her place feels like being in the country.  She owns 5 alpacas...

The prettiest animals with the longest eyelashes....

Happy Friday eve!!!!

brrr....

I posted this pic of my new fav owlie {Lawn Fawn} and jar {Savvy Stamps} on FB last weekend...

I managed to stamp and color 5 sets....here's what I did with one of them:

**no owlies were harmed in the making of this card**

Darin made me kinda sorta realize how grotesque this might look to non-crafters...He was wondering why the owl was in the jar and why he was cold....

I was inspired by Kimber's 2Peas sketch challenge...I've been enjoying them!

....also playing along with the gals over at Lawnscaping:

Be on the lookout for me over HERE later on today....

Just a reminder that I'm slowly adding goodies to my For Sale page!

happy holidays x 4

Sunday....already?

The long weekend is just flying by!

Back in the day, before blogging, I use to mass produce my Christmas cards...same design x 50+.

I was insane.

...or it drove me insane.

I'm not a mass producer...I find it tiring and it squeezes the fun out of creating.

I'm especially proud of these cards because:

1.  My girl designed them
2.  I enjoyed making them in somewhat mass production mode
3.  It uses non-holiday Crate paper
4.  I love that glittery American Crafts paper
5.  I used ultra old MM rub ons for the sentiment
6.  Those trees were RAK'd to me by the fabulous Jen W.
7.  A somewhat postal friendly design

This is perfect for the current Paper Issues challenge:

preppy holiday...

Happy Black Friday!!!!

Poppin' in here speedy quick to share a preppy holiday card:

I used Jane's Doodles

cutest set ever:)

My card is compliments of a couple people...first, I was inspired by Kimber's card sketch over at Two Peas:

I was one of the winners from last week!
Super fun!

I do have to share about some of my supplies:

Hero Arts Card Base:  Alice Wertz
Martha Stewart Mat Pad:  Ivy Wong
'Preppy' ribbon:  JJ Bolton

Although the red panel is from a Martha holiday pack, I love how the mat blue card base and the preppy ribbon give it a non-traditional look.

Call it my Black Friday Shopping for you...I have some stuff posted for Sale....more to come.

Just Saying Hello...

Hello!

Yahoo for the very long weekend!

I stamped the tag with the Hero Arts Large Fabric Design and dry embossed it with my houndstooth folder.

I fussy cut the Hero Art messages sentiment.

...added some Jillibean blooms.

Check out the gold thread...swoon...love that stuff!

I'm playing along with the gals over at Hero Arts:

I'm taking the day off from the blog tomorrow but should be back on Friday:)

**edited to add**

In my perfect world I put together all my projects and posts over the weekend.  That way I can pop back in and review my posts with 'fresh eyes'...I catch most of my typos then too:)  So as I'm looking at this {it's tuesday morning} I'm realizing that this card reminds me of someone
