10 minute craft dash: Birthday theme!!

Hello and Welcome to the

Challenge #23!

I was thrilled when Paulina asked me to join in the fun!

You should have arrived her from Meredith's blog:

If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is Paulina's blog

Here are the deets:

Date: August 7, 2013 starting promptly at 6AM, PST

What: A blog hop featuring 20 special guests and the Craft Dash Design Team showcasing their birthday creations. In addition, there will be a coordinating challenge for participants to link up their crafty creation(s)!

Prizes: A $50 Ellen Hutson gift certificate + a prize pack for the winning creation. Also, we have prizes for random comments left along the blog hop.

Here's what I created for the birthday festivities:

Can I tell you that having a time limit makes me craft at a snail's pace?  I feel like I'm doing everything in slow motion and it feels like I also have ginormous man hands...LOL.

How do I prep for quick crafting?  I go for the 'collection' card.  I pulled out all of my October Afternoon Cakewalk.  I also ended up using a Happy Birthday sticker by SRM.

Easy Smeasy:

I have serious time to spare!

I could have probably stitched the top of the banner...oh well, I wasn't going to chance going over the time!

The super fabulous Susan Opel is next, check out her facebook page
