hello bloom

What are some of your crafty challenges?

One of my many, is designing one layer cards.

In an attempt to not spend my retirement on postage, I'm making an effort to design cards that are postal friendly

One of my FAVORITE Hero Arts stamps...

Large Solid Flower ☚ not a fancy name for a spectacular image.

I loaded it up with Hero Arts Neon Pink...oh, yes, I do adore Neon.

The Hello is a Pebbles rub on.  I've used them before, I actually might have several packages but that particular Hello was being a pill...it would not burnish off the plastic...but I was determined....so after a couple different card bone folders, a wooden clothing pin clip dealio, I went into my closet to dig up the stick that came with the sheet of rub ons...yes, I'm that lazy.

I was (thoroughly) inspired by the most magnificent

Today is Super Bowl Sunday!

I probably didn't have to tell you all that...it's a jammie day for me....crossing my fingers that our Seattle Seahawks win.

Love that intense pink - and I hear you on the rub-ons. I recently found a bunch of older ones & had to pitch them all :(

  21. Gorgeous!!! Strong and bold like this is perfect for a one-layer card! And I know what you mean...when I was mailing my cards last Friday, I handed each one to the post lady, "Is this one too thick? Is this one too thick? Is this one too thick?" haha
