Seize the Sketch: thanks

We're back with a new challenge over at

A fabulous sketch by my teamie, Sherry!

I decided to rotate the sketch to the right and came up with this:

I stamped the Lawn Fawn wood grain on white cardstock but first masked off the heart shape.  After stamping the wood grain, I followed up with the outlined heart and added the sentiment.

I decided the wood grain panel was too white so I swiped it with some tea dye Distress Stain.

Lovin' the Top Dog Dies Cherish doily...it's awesome with vellum.

See that garland?  That was a RAK from the wonderful Katie Brooks.  I adhered every other star so that there is still 'movement'...it's oh-so-very sweet.

The red panel is ala Authentique from Sheri Gilson!

Be sure to check out the Seize the Sketch blog to see how my teamies were inspired!

A playground of fun here, Amy, with the colors, the doily, the woodgrain, the stars. Fabulous! I have a doily die that really needs some attention. Inspired by you!
