let's celebrate: happy birthday maria!

I love birthday's, don't you?

I was super thrilled to be asked by the ever talented Shirley of Shirley Bee's Stamping Stuff, to join in the Birthday Festivities for the awesome Maria of rieslingmama.

This one is for you Maria:

You might not be able to tell from the photo, but I actually cut a window out of the front panel and positioned the slide over it.  I wanted to feature the lovely watercolored look on the acetate {love the Basic Grey Fresh Cut collection!}.  Originally I was going to stamp a sentiment on the interior of the card but opted to go with the vellum banner.

cardstock:  neenah stamps:  reverse confetti beautiful banners ink:  zing black embossing powder other:  srm sentiment, chippies by Basic Grey Fresh cut, DCWV cork

I added the cork confetti {ala my Crop-a-dile}.

I'll be writing on the interior of the card in a circular pattern :)

Maria, I hope you have a wonderful birthday!  Thank you for filling our crafty lives with so much inspiration.  You are such a talented paper crafter!

Big shout out to Shirley for coordinating this virtual birthday linky party!

Aw, Amy. Sweet and pink - I SO can't do that - but you created a wonderful CAS version of it with this beaut. I love that slide (you don't know how many slide shows we have had in my family over the years!) And cork confetti? I absolutely love the ethereal banner bearing the sentiment! Thanks so much for joining my party. Now go take a nap ;)
