love you to the moon & back...

T.G.I.F!

Here's a clean & simple card...I'm letting the paper do all the work:

I super LOVE that Elle's Studio striped gray paper...don't you?

I've teamed it up with Studio Calico & Amy Tangerine.

I was inspired by the latest

and yes,

So excited to have had a shout out on last week's challenge!

So Thursday morning I woke up at 12:30 am.  Many of you know that I'm an early bird but I work hard at making myself stay in bed until at least 3 am.  Yes, 12:30 is too early, even for me.  So I tried to force myself back to sleep, that never works, so I ended up getting out of bed by 1:15 am.  I made a card, did a couple blog posts, cleaned my desk, commented on over 100+ blogs and then decided I should probably power nap before work, so I did, for 30 minutes.  I made it through my work day, surprisingly.  It's when I got into my nice warm car with the sun shining...that's when my body started to slowly get.very.tired.  I made it home, napped for almost 3 hours and I'm back, hard at work {wink}.

On weekends I force myself to stay in bed until at least 8:30 as I get up at 5:45 every weekday which seems pretty early to me! but 3 am?? Yikes Amy - I hope you go to bed early!?!

You poor thing! I cannot imagine how you function at all on so little sleep! LOVE your card! yes, I am drooling over that gray striped paper! What a fun combo with the pink and yellow, and how I LOVE that heart veneer! Wow!

Wow, Amy - this is stunning. i love the heart in the veneer panel. The pop of yellow is fantastic.

Wow - I can't believe you get up at 3 AM (or earlier), create and go to work. I get up at 3:45 every day and it's all I can do to get ready for work, commute and work. I have a hard time finding creativity during the week due to my schedule so I'm amazed even more at what you do! :)

This is so super pretty!
Wow! You sound like Martha Stewart. She rises very, very early, and needs very little sleep.

Wow - your capacity for sleeping so little, yet creating so amazingly (and functioning, in general) is astounding! Impressive to the nth degree - but be sure you're taking care of yourself! Your card here: stunning! The papers are pretty, but in your hands, they become magical...

Your shout-out last week was more than well deserved, and wow, what a stunner as your follow-up!! I love how eclectic this is - the perfect positioning of the patterns and colours, and that negative wood veneer - wow!!! Thanks so much for playing to find a Cure For The Monday Blues!

Wait, what?!

I reread your last paragraph several times. You WOKE UP at 12:30? Hahaha, We totally overlap then. I usually go to bed around 3 am. Sometimes later : ) BUT, I've never come close to visiting 100 blogs at a time. Holy smokes woman, you are super-human. I was laughing a couple days earlier because I read somewhere that you're going to be on yet another team, that I can't even remember. Oh, I think it was Laura Davis who is starting a challenge, right?

Anyway, I do love your card, and its trendiness!
Yay, you got a shout out on Cure for the Monday blues!

I swooned when I saw this card on Facebook! It's one of my most favorite ever! I am crazy about gray and white stripes now too!

And 100 blogs! Wow! I don't know how you keep up! OH yeah, you get up at 12:30 am! lol!

Amy, I like this card, but I don't like insomnia!!! I was nearly completely debilitated by it for several months at a time over a year. I really hope it's nothing serious for you!!! If you ever want to discuss it, let me know-- I am a bit of an expert and lucky not suffering nearly as much any more (and no drugs were needed!). You DO have quite a penchant for coffee..... :) Anyway hope you are well! Scrolling through all your work I've missed over the week. And I owe you an email! xo

Hey, just saw we shared some honors over at Monday Blues. This is one cool and modern card. Your news of no sleep is not good, however. As much as I love seeing all your comments (I did wonder how you manage it all) I really wish you would calm yourself down and get some sleep. Not healthy, girlie. Big hug.
