Hello and we're back with a new sketch

Awesome sketch by Jen N!

Before I get to my card, I wanted to say "see ya around" bloggie land to

I know that I'll see you gals but I will miss your constant Seize the Sketch inspiration!!!

We also want to
welcome our new teamies

We're thrilled to have you on the team!!!

I gotta tell you, the Seize the Sketch team is awesome, such a fun group of gals!

Okay, ready for how the sketch inspired me?

Here you go:

I generally tend to stick to one paper manufacturer per card...mixing and matching patterns from a single collection.  This is how I make it easier on myself, rather than sorting through my bazillion paper pads, yes, I literally have that many.

The Basic Grey Fresh Cut collection sings to me...it is so happy & springy!

I love that PTI die,  but man, it gives me a mental workout.  I'm a 'carefree' crafter = paper & embellies are typically flying around when I craft.  I have to concentrate and purposefully save the pop outs....see the interior of the 'Y', 'o', 'A' & 'R'?  Dude some of those pieces are microscopic when you have old lady eyes!  It's so worth the work though, I love the contrast of the frame and the text.

I used vellum banner flags on the top of my card and finished it off with my very last Fresh Cut bloom.  I'm ordering more of those puppies, they rock {thanks Sherry!}.

Kimberly is the one that RAK'd me the Fresh Cut 6x6 paper pad and I've managed to crank out a total of 6 cards, including today's.  Love how the 6x6'ers give you that ability....I still have plenty of paper left to make more cards!

I hope that you'll play along with us!

So fun! Love the mix of patterns here. And, I am so impressed you managed to hang on to all of those teeny, tiny die cut pieces so you could put them all together perfectly!

This card is so pretty, I love the flowers and gingham together! I love your story about "flying" embellies, I can't tell you how many times I have been digging through my shag carpet looking for one of those microscopic-yet-oh-so-important pieces, lol! One of the joys of crafting :)
