orla summer

So I picked up a We R Memory Keepers stamp at a local scrapbooking shop:

cardstock:  pti  stamps:  we r memory keepers/72 & sunny  ink:  fresh ink teal/tomato red & birch hero arts hues

Just a clean & simple card that actually took me several times until I just gave up and went with the flow....sometimes the image would stamp perfect, sometimes not so good.

The shape totally reminds me of

Hang in there....I have more:

BLOG HOP WITH A DIFFERENCE....
I'm truly honored to be invited by  Lynnda Hosni to join in this fun Blog Hop with a Difference.

The hope is that the hop will continue to bounce its way around the blogosphere by answering a few questions and passing on to three more bloggers. Here we go....

1. What am I working on right now?
I'm constantly working on various Design Team projects.  My boy & I are having fun putting together our joint office.  I hope to post pics soon!

2. How long does it take to create a project?
It generally takes me less than an hour to create a card but much longer to photog & blog about it!  I craft primarily on the weekends and my days off.  I like to design and blog a week at a time so I'm not rushing around during the work week trying to accomplish my blogging.

3. What are my fave things I love to create with at the moment?
I'm still smitten by wood veneer.  I recently started designing with neon which I LOVE too.

 4. How does my creative process work?
I'm such a challenge-a-holic.  That is what typically starts my creative process.  I've been doing quite a bit on Pinterest too, inspiration is everywhere!

5. How do I become inspired and stay inspired?
I'm inspired on a daily basis by my bloggie friends and others that I follow via Feedly.

6. What is my signature style?
I love colors and patterns but people tend to think of me as a CAS designer.

7. One random fact about me
I've thrown this random fact out before so I'm not sure how random it is, I'm Canadian:)

And on that note, I am going to hand you over to three ladies who inspire and amaze!

1.  Katie Brooks - This girl rocks designing projects with tissue!  She loves color as much as I do!  I'm going to miss her horribly as my walking buddy/therapy sessions but luckily we get together on a regular basis to craft!

2.  Kimberly Wiener - How can one girl rock CAS + non-CAS?!  She is really good at sharing the love with all of her crafting supplies {something that I need help with!} and she has such a huge heart.

4.  Tonya Jastad - Quiet elegance...that's how I'd describe Tonya's style.  Put me in a store with Tonya and we will convince each other to buy EVERYTHING.  This girl makes me laugh so much.

So sadly I can only list 3 people, I could go on and on.  These are just a couple of gals that I get together with on a monthly basis to craft chat & eat.  I love how there is such an instant connection with paper crafters.

Thanks for making it this far...

Did I mention that today is my birthday?

I love my birthday.

Forget the fact that I'm getting older and this year is my (gulp) 30th high school reunion...what?  how can that be?!

So with that, I'm doing a little something...

Happy Birthday, Amy! I hope you have a fabulous day!
Your card is darling and I became a follower of your blog (I'd thought I'd done that ages ago, but I usually click over from my blog, because you're listed in my sidebar.....)
Thanks for the chance to win the GC -- what a great store! If I won, I'd probably get the My Favourite Things Friend Request stamp set -- it's very cute!
First things first - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
Second, what a great card and design. I find stamping to be frustrating like that sometimes too. I really need to try it more but then it makes me want more ink pads that I don't have. LOL!!!
Forgot to add what I would do if I won...maybe you guessed it from my first comment...I'd buy some ink pads!

Happy, happy birthday!! Hope you were spoilt rotten and were able to spend time laughing with your family and friends. And aren't you supposed to get something on your birthday, not give something away??? I just found Butterfly Reflections Ink the other day and they have the most wonderful products. Its very hard to choose, I need so many things. Hero Arts Unicorn white, bubblegum pink and fresh pink ink pads is one idea or the Bold Statements Stamp Set by MFT or Paper Smooches Rainbow Die and Avery Elle Happy Die. Too many to choose from but thank you so much for the chance to add to my not very big stash!!
