Butterfly Reflections Ink Guest designer: my friend

So, today wraps up my Guest Designer gig at Butterfly Reflections Ink.   I have thoroughly enjoyed myself....Vanessa is awesome and I'm so thankful for her.

Here's a project I literally whipped up before leaving for Japan.  Yup, the kids and I will be returning from a lovely trip to Japan today.

Isn't the Avery Elle Tea Time Stamp Set fun?!

Although I didn't use them in today's project, there are coordinating dies for the Tea Time set:

The sentiment is from Avery Elle's Red & Goldie set.

I colored in the tea cup using the new Ranger Pistachio color:

Check out the other Pistachio products HERE and there's Mermaid Lagoon too!

Did you see the thesaurus page that I used has the word tea on it?  I've been hoarding that white M $ spot frame {translation = I recently rediscovered it}.

A big shout out to Butterfly Reflections Ink for the Super Month!!!

Before you go, here's one of my favorite pictures of me and the kids.  It was taken at Osaka Castle {you can see it in the background}.

We walked a lot, ate a lot and  have some super memories.  I have always told the kids we would go in 2015, the year the boy graduates from high school.  Speaking about the boy, he applied to 5 colleges and received 5 acceptances .   I'm excited to hear his final choice....

Luckily I have a couple days off before going back to work....need to rest up and get a bunch of crafting in.

Love the project! The color of the teacup has such a retro feel to it! I think my mom had coffee cups that color, lol. Hope you had, and it looks like you did, a great time in Japan. Sweet photo of a very lovely family. So nice to be in faraway places with those you love. Get some rest, then post those pix! Bev

Wonderful project, Amy! I am envious of you going to Japan. I have been 4 times, but all in the mid 80's so a long time ago. We visited Kyoto and of course Tokyo. My favorite was Disneyland in Tokyo, just because I loved hearing country jamboree in Japanese! Rode the bullet train as well, hope you are having fun! Everything was so clean and the food courts in Tokyo were awesome! Happy journey and safe trip home!

Have loved your GD posts for Butterfly Reflections Ink, you've certainly advertised their products well with your wonderful designs. Glad you've got time to do your washing etc before you head back to work. Look forward to seeing more holiday shots!! And see what crafty goodies you bought while you were away!

A trip to Japan? Wow, wow and wow! I know you had an excellent time, based on those smiles! What an experience! Applauding your son's acceptances to all the places he applied: a sign of how 'wanted' hs is. Looking forward to hearing what his choice will be. You've been an awesome designer for Butterfly Reflections Ink, showcasing their products with your impressive style and flair. This project here: yet more evidence of your creativity...so fabulous!

great pic--can barely tell who the mom is :) congrats to the boy--I highly recommend the least expensive school that he can picture himself at. My daughter did that and has just one more year and has enjoyed her choice.
Chark said…
p.s. he can always go for his master's at the more expensive school, that's the degree everyone will see anyway, and it's only 2 years of the higher cost. this has been finance with chark :)

I'm sooo happy for you though, Amy...awesome, awesome!!! PS...your project is adorable and huge congrats to your son and you. ;)
