Everything is going to be okay.

Happy New Years Eve!

If you didn't know, Verve is super awesome about offering up free digi's during the Coffee Lovers Blog Hops♡  Their last one was excellent and I finally had a chance to play with them.  I was super inspired by The Paper Baker's designs, she made them big!  I followed her lead but ended up popping my 4.25 cup on a scalloped base.  The sentiment is the Be Okay sentiment.  It's currently on sale for $1.20!!!

This is going to a dear friend that is going through BIG changes in her life♡

Also a quick reminder that the Storewide SALE over at Butterfly Reflections Ink ends today.

Papertrey Ink December Blog Hop: May Your Cup Runneth Over

I wasn't going to hop today but woke up early enough to whip a card together for the Papertrey Ink December Blog Hop!  Isn't this month's inspiration gorgeous?  I'm always a fan of the black chalkboard technique.  If I have enough time today, I'd like to experiment with my new Acryla Gouche.

So I was inspired by the:

colors:  red, white, black + green✔︎
circles✔︎
linen texture✔︎

Here's the end result:

I used a Pure Poppy base that I ran through with the Linen Impression plate.  Perhaps if you squinted you might be able to see the texture?  I was able to combine Latte Love + Tea for Two Addition Stamp Sets.  To bring in the pretty greens, I paper pieced the coffee cup with Basic Grey Juniper Berry.

Here are the (linked) Papertrey Ink products I used in today's card:

latte love

tea for two

linen

pure poppy

Looking forward to being inspired by everyone!

valentine

Today's card brings us into Valentine's Day!  Have you seen Hero Arts' 2016 Valentine's Collection?

I always enjoy the transition from the holidays to valentine's....I love to use 'non-traditional' colors so today's heart is blue!  I used the Floral Heart Stamp & Cut by Lia:

I  love how delicate the heart is with all the lovely detail cuts.  I used Mixed Sea Layering Papers and backed it with Snow Layering Paper.  The sentiment has been heat embossed in White.  Do you see the pearl accents?  I also snuck in some Kraft Layering Paper.

Sad to read that the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge is closing up.  I knew I had to play in their final challenge!

Thanks so much for stoppin' by!

'Tis the Season: Blog Candy Winners

Hello Hello!

I'm back again with guess what?!  Yes, coffee cards...I'm in such a coffee mode, I thought, why not?

cardstock:  recollections/110/white, papertrey ink kraft  paper:  pink paislee merry & bright, basic grey juniper berry  stamps: reverse confetti caffeinated cups/seasonal sentiments  ink:  memento tuxedo, fresh ink chocolate + cocoa  other:  reverse confetti tag me too/caffeinated cups confetti cuts, t$spot ribbon, mft felt

I really am a clean + crisp designer but I love to mix and match patterns.  Something that I haven't really used much lately is ribbon.  I love the look when others use it but it seems when I use it I'm all thumbs.  These cards are going to be hand delivered (so NOT postal friendly with the ribbon).

I recently picked up the Basic Grey Juniper Berry collection.  I've teamed it up with Reverse Confetti's Caffeinated Cups + Seasonal Sentiments stamps.  I used the Caffeinated Cups/Tag Me Too Confetti Cuts.  I love the smidge of felt for the coffee sleeve, it gives it such a warm feel.

Next up is a card that uses Pink Paislee's Merry & Bright.  I've been using this paper pad quite a bit this year.  I used the same stamps, Caffeinated Cups + Seasonal Sentiments and the same Confetti Cuts:  Caffeinated Cups and Tag Me Too.  Isn't is fun to see 2 cards that use the same products but look completely different?
