Just saying hello

Well, the Seattle weather has returned.  This morning is rainy + gloomy.  That's okay, it's better than the heat wave we had been experiencing.  I whipped this card up this morning.  I'm taking a break from DT assignments to play!

When I saw today's Inspired by..All The Little Things challenge, I knew that I had to play along.  It's funny because it wasn't just the hydrangeas that got me, but the pretty purples and greens.

You all know how much I adore green but I've been slowly gravitating to purples...key word is slowly.

It seems like forever since I've played along with CAS(E) this sketch but I loosely used this week's challenge:

I couldn't resist using the Essentials by Ellen, Mondo Hydrangea so I'm also linking up to the Mix It Up Challenge.

I love the Mix It Up Challenge...they combine forces with another manufacturer and this time it is Technique Tuesday!  I used the Say It - Hello set by  Technique Tuesday.

Whew, love it when I can capture a couple different challenges to check off of my to-do list!  Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.  Any big plans?  We're celebrating a birthday tonight...a friend that I've known since 7th grade..whoa.  Birthday girl picked a hip Middle Eastern restaurant in Seattle and I'm picking up a gluten free cake for the birthday girl and a regular cake for those of us that want a gluten full dessert --> that's me.

Beautious Amy! I love hydrangeas, they are my fav! I love all your signature greens, lol but I guess you have to use some pinks and purples for flowers. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
