Throwback Thursday + Giveaway!

So, I've been playing (+ eating) a lot and didn't make time to whip something up today so I went through my bloggie archives to post projects that I shared on my birthday...ready?!  Here we go...oldest to newest:

2008

2009

2010

2011

2012

2013

2014

2015

2016

The biggest thing I've noticed...my photography skills :)

Before you go, I'm on Day 4 of 5 for my Birthday Giveaway:

Today I'm giving away a $55 Store Gift Card to My Sweet Petunia!  Does that seem like an odd $ amount? It's enough to cover the cost of a Mini Misti (+ domestic shipping).  I use it whenever I use clear stamps...I love it!

To be eligible, leave me a comment by Saturday, August 13th at 11:59 pm.  IF you are a no-reply blogger (see right side bar) you must also include your email address in your comment so that I can let you know if you won♡

Thanks for sharing your cards, each one was fun, and I can even remember a few of them! Continue to enjoy the birthday time, and eat, drink and be merry!! Bev

It is so encouraging to see growth over the years. Your cards really have changed but so has all the card supplies. I remember in 1999 we were still using basic construction paper for scrapbooking and it was forbidden to cut a photo! Really nice to just see how things change! Beautiful cards, every year!

First of all, happy birthday! My birthday month is July and I celebrate it all month long. Wow, if my cards looked anywhere as good as your cards over the years I would probably get big-headed! I limp along with limited crafting time but seeing your early cards and more current ones gives me hope! I would really love to get a mini Misti, because then maybe my stamping would actually improve! apedoak@gmail.com

This is such a fun post! It's enlightening
to see how your card making has evolved
over the years. I remember being so scared
to make my first card (as an adult-used to make
all kinds of things when I was a kid). I saw what
other online crafty friends/acquaintances were
making and me, being a scrapbooker, felt quite
inadequate. Now, I just try my best, and hope that
the recipient of my card feels happy/special for a few
moments of their day. I tell people not to feel guilty if
they don't save my card, since I got just as much enjoyment
making it as they did receiving it.
Have a happy day!
