MFT Challenge and Inspiration: Birthdays Rock

Hello!  So excited to tell you that I've been the March Guest for the MFT Challenge & Inspirationsketch features!  If you've been following me for awhile, you know how much I love sketches!

I'm super sad that this is my last Guestie post but I'm so grateful for my month of creating!  It's been so much fun, check out this week's sketch:

Here's how I was inspired:

The Birdie Brown Strike Up The Band set is soooooo cute!  One of the girl's friends will be celebrating her Birthday in May AND she's part of the University of Washington Marching Band...how perfect is this?

Psssttt...I'm trying to embrace the color purple.  I don't generally use it in my designs but when I do, I think, "That's not bad!".  If you haven't noticed, I generally tend to gravitate to green.

The Die-Namics Cross Stitched Circle STAX is a fun way to make that sweet bunny be the star of the show!

I can't wait to see how the MFT Design Team was inspired by the sketch...make sure you check it out HERE.

Sponsor Solo: Sugarpea Designs

Hey, Happy Monday!  Today Melissa is up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog with her Sponsor Solo Feature.

This week she is featuring:  SugarPea Designs

I'm a BIG fan of SugarPea Designs and couldn't wait to play with their newest sketch:

I know, I know...it's a coffee card:

I used the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles.  The largest fits perfectly on an A2 card front.

Love the sizes in the Stitched Flags set.  I used the largest one on my card.

The  Zig Zag Stitched Circles are a staple supply (same with the rectangles)!

Super love the Coffee Words:

Reverse Confetti: Some Bunny

Hello and Happy Easter!  I had the day off from the blog due to a coffee hangover...more on that in a smidge.  I have a fun card to share with you today, surprise surprise, it's a coffee card:

I used the Reverse Confetti Caffeinated Cups Confetti Cuts.  I stamped on the To Go cup with the adorable girl bunny from the Hippety Hoppity set.  Everything has been colored with my Zig Clean Color Markers.

You might not see that the To Go cup is on a glassine bag that holds a cute Easter Starbucks card:

The Girl gets home today from her Spring Break abroad.  Looking forward to picking her up at the airport and her spending Easter Dinner at home♡  She's going to love her Easter card!

My card was inspired by my friends over at FUSION:

Did you see the final count for the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop?!

WOW!  714!!!!!  The Winter Hop closed with 643....I never imagined an increase of 71 entries!  That's totally FABulous.  Hopefully the winner's post will go live tomorrow.  We're doing some techie changes, cross your fingers.

I did want to share this pic of me and my Momma.  I took her to the University of Washington yesterday.  They have the prettiest cherry blossoms:

I hope you have a great Sunday and get to spend it with Family/Friends.

Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Final Day: heck yes to a giveaway!

post 1 of 2 for today...click HERE for The Heart Desires blog hop + giveaway!

Today's going to be a busy day on my blog!  It's the last day of the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog hop!  I'm up on the Hero Arts blog but before you pop over there, I did want to share a card that I made especially for my blog and the final day of the Spring Hop.

I fussy cut my own To Go cup using the Hero Arts Paper Layering Pineapple die:

I know, right?! That pineapple is so much fun!  I colored it with my Zig Clean Color Markers.  See the fun sentiment?  It's from the Hero Arts Hello Gorgeous stamp set.  It's been stamped with Intense Black ink ---> my go-to black ink.

I've been seeing a bunch of fun plaid in the Spring Hop gallery and really love that look so I jumped on the bandwagon!

I have a different card up on the Hero Arts blog today!  I used the same Paper Layering Pineapple + Hello Gorgeous stamp set!

My friends at Hero Arts are letting me giveaway a Hero Arts $25 Shopping Spree!  YAY!!!!

For a chance to win:
