Coffee Heartbreaker

Hello and Happy Thursday!  I've been enjoying the week off from work and have a 'just because' card...no challenge, no design team assignment, purely 'just because':

I've had the Sweet Stamp Shop Heartbreaker set, for awhile.  I wanted to ink it up for the Winter Hop but there just wasn't enough time!  I bought it especially to put onto a coffee cup, faux Starbucks logo.

I penciled in the tail and inked it up.  I definitely have some other ideas 'brewing'....

Hero Arts: Let's Toast!

I can't believe how quickly this week is flying by...it's probably because I'm off from work.  I have a fun party card to share:

I combined the Hero Arts Birthday Celebration and Cocktail Party Stamp & Cut sets.  I love the Tide Pool and Black combo, how about you?

This works perfectly for the current CASology challenge:

Reverse Confetti : You're the coolest

So, we're coming close to New Years.  Do you have any resolutions?  I really cringe to say this is a resolution because honestly, I generally fail miserably on those.  I do want to send out more happy mail.  I have a list of people that will get regular cards from me because I want to brighten their days on a consistent basis.

Here's today's card:

Eep!  Those penguins, so sweet!  They're from the Reverse Confetti S'more Love set.  I used the coordinating Confetti Cuts too.  The patterned paper is from the 6x6 Warm Heart paper pad which has been cut with one of the Edgers Confetti Cuts.

The cardstock is Cloud White + Mist.

I don't use purple much but when I do, I like it 💜

Paper Sweeties - 25 Days of Christmas Holiday Blog Hop!

I'm so happy to be guesting for Paper Sweeties!  Make sure you check their blog for today's special sale!  Here's how I was inspired:

I've been having so much fun with the But First, Coffee and Eat Cake stamp sets!  They are so great to mix and match!  I colored them with my Zig markers and heat embossed the sentiment in white.

I don't know about you but I'm smitten with plaid!

This design could easily be a holiday card or perhaps just a happy winter!

but first, coffee

eat cake

I was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches:

Thanks so much for stoppin' by and Happy Holidays!

Are you YETI for Christmas?

What?  Still making Holiday Cards?  I sent out my last batch of cards yesterday (shaking my head) I can't believe how late they are this year.  I'll be changing things up next year so that they go out Thanksgiving weekend.

So I've had this ADORABLE MFT Beast Friends forever and have finally had a chance to ink it up:

The beauty of this set is that it could go the Christmas route or everyday theme....gotta love that.  Look at those cute guys!  I love the the MFT Die-Namics Peekaboo Polka Dots.

I teamed up the Stardream Lagoon (the sheen is AMAZING)  and Pop-Tone Wild Cherry, both from Paper Garden.

A simple vellum band was perfect for the fun sentiment.

I was inspired by the MFT Sketch Challenge:

I'm also linking up to the Paper Garden's 2016 Holiday Card Challenge

Peace and Joy

Happy Thursday!  I've been behind on playing with my new goodies.  This uses 1 new set, can you spot it?

I finally picked up the Essentials by Ellen - Light Parade by Brandi Kincaid.  Love her new collection over at Ellen's!  I combined it with a Mason Jar from Jane's Doodles, Life is Good.    The sentiment is by Pretty Pink Posh - Holiday Greetings.

Isn't the red panel awesome?  It's retired Stampin' Up, wish they had it still, it's nice and heavy double sided paper.

I'm playing along with the Inspired by...All the Little Things.

I have the perfect red striped ribbon but couldn't fit it into the design so I went with the red pattern layer.

Are you ready for the holidays...I'm THISCLOSE.  Well, technically not since I haven't wrapped anything but that's what I have children for, right?

Hero Arts: have a beautiful day

I wanted to use the beautiful Hero Arts Floral Border with Frame Fancy Die.

It's been cut with a panel from the Midnight Mixed Layering Papers.  The sentiment is from the You're So Lovely set.  It has been heat embossed in white.  Isn't the contrast between the Midnight Mixed Layer and Foliage Mixed Layer panels pretty?

So delicate and feminine!

Thanks so much for stoppin' by!!
