5th Avenue Thank You....

This card design is compliments of CPS 101. What I hope is a masculine'ish thank you card...those are tough ones for me. This is almost an entire Making Memories card...I bought the 5th Avenue kit on sale at Target...odd that some of the papers seemed to be chowdered up...like scratched....is that how it is suppose to be? The pale blue button is from my {note} worthy embellishment jar...The circle diecut is from the 5th Avenue kit and the "thank you" is from a Making Memories rub-on sheet. I finally did some sewing...haven't done that in awhile and want to keep the 'ole Janome exercised..lol.

Over the weekend, "d" recruited a co-worker of his to help him move my fridge into my garage and then retrieve my mom's old fridge and pop it into my kitchen. I was pleased that it went fairly smoothly...my mom's fridge {I guess it is mine now...not my mom's! BTW, the fridge I adopted is waayyyy nicer than the one that came with my home} barely fit through my front doorway and around my kitchen island...karma peeps...karma...I don't know if "d's" friend is a coffee drinker but I popped a Starbucks card in there as a thank you...if not coffee...there is always their yummish treats :)

Love the card and especially the blue with the black polka dot circle. Also nice touch with the black criss crossing behind the sentiment.

Love this...what a great combo in that kit! It doesn't scream masculine to me...but what do I know? Maybe if there was a darker blue?

When I bought the 5th Avenue MM line at Target, I thought I bought a defective pack. I almost returned it. It does bother me a bit that the pages are scuffed up. That's the way it is.
