Happy Weekend!
I was THRILLED to see that the bonus sketch over at 2s4y was designed by my bloggie buddie Kay! Dontcha love it?
By now you must know that I'm smitten by MME....
I seriously canNOT get enough of it...and peeps have been noticing that I've been gravitating to bright & happy colors!! Woot Woot Kay for a fabbie sketch!!!!I don't know what it is this week...I've been super productive...I think I ended up posting 11 cards...11...that's just plain ♥crazy♥.
Well, tonight is going to filled with festivities...my peeps are throwing me an engagement party...hopefully nothing too wild, good grief, I'm much too old for that:)
We missed one of the gals' birthday...so this is her belated birthday card:
My card base is the Frame Shaped Card by the Cutting Cafe. I absolutely love that shape! The text paper is Jenni Bowlin..yup, using that fun banner again from Courtney's Practicing Creativity Set, Look Up! I used Cosmo Cricket letter stickers (man, those things rock because there are so many of each letter and the set themselves are cheap!}. Okay, do you see that fun wine glass? I fussy cut it from the Trader Joe's "Booze Bag"...LOL..no, it wasn't mine, I actually don't drink...it was from a co-worker. The flower? It is something I 'found' while I was cleaning this week...ultra vintage MM...it's leather...very coolio...I topped it off with a PTI button and Kaiser pearl.
So, I'm going to call this my 'upcycled birthday greeting' because my friend is oh-so-green and will probably get a kick out of it...and the trader joe's gift card that will be on the inside...come on, who doesn't love trader joe's?
