merci...& a winner...

I'm over on A Blog Named Hero...click HERE.

Howdy!

Although I wish I had the day off from work tomorrow, I was lucky enough to have most of Friday off.  Although I had grand plans of getting a bunch of stuff done on Friday, it didn't necessarily work out that way but I had an awesome day.

I'm challenging myself to use stuff that, well, I haven't used before.  I know as crafters, we all have this 'problem'...buying something that we 'had' to have only to have it sit and wait to be loved.

So here's my card:

Um, do you know what it is that I'm finally lovin'?

Yup, that MFT Eiffel Tower die along with the wool felt.  I bought them both from Impress...the sentiment is computer generated.

The fabulous blue cardstock was a RAK from my bloggie friend, Sherry.  It's quite the lovely shade of blue.

Typing blue....this was made especially for the CASology challenge:

So what about you?  Can I challenge YOU to use something that needs some lovin'?

**winner winner chicken dinner**

Thanks so much for playing along with my CHA Goodies give-a-way.  I really enjoyed reading your comments!!!!

The winner is Julia Aston!

I've been bloggie friends for Julia for a very long time...Thanks so much for playing Julia...one day I hope to meet YOU:)

Wait, what, buying it and not using it? I find I have SCADS of ideas until I own the darn thing, and then they all run off & hide. Worst game of hide & seek EVAH.
I love the glitter layer - and blue/grey/silver is such a simple & classy colour scheme. Gorgeous!
I think you are mistaken Amy, don't we all use everything we buy??? SIGH, yes, I know I have that problem!
What a way to use what you bought.

Lovely! What a wonderful way to represent the eiffel tower and use something that has needed some love! I find doing challenges really stretches me to use products/tools in new ways and I think that I'm addicted. It's probably one of the more healthy addictions to have - using what you've already got to be creative and make something wonderful! Thanks for sharing your fantastic creation and newly loved supplies and tools!
