grateful.

post 1 of 2 for me today...Click HERE for my Fusion post.

So, on Tuesday night I went to my last High School Open house.  It's kind of weird to think of it that way.  My boy is a Senior this year. Wow.  This is the boy that wrote on his face with marker, gave himself haircuts and all kinds of shenanigans.

So here's a card that I made because of how grateful I am.

I'm grateful for my family, my health and all things good.

cardstock:  stampin' up hello honey/cherry cobbler, paper accents vellum,  sticker:  carta bella/a perfect autumn  other:  may arts twine, stampin' up modern mosaic embossing folder

 What's sparked this?

I read THIS blog post.
(check it out, it won't take very much of your time)

Truthfully, I sobbed when I watched the video.  It gives a person perspective, doesn't it?

I was inspired by the following challenges:

I used the sketch!

cardstock:
Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler
Stampin' Up Hello Honey

I've been really lovin' their color combos!

and...

I was inspired by:

the colors
the pattern on the bedding:  I inked up my embossing folder with white, can you see the slight contrast in color?

Thanks so much for stoppin' by!
