So, how have you been enjoying the Neat & Tangled New Release Week?!

I know, right?!  So many fun and fabulous new sets!

Today we're featuring:

Winter Trees
illustrated by Miriam!

I was definitely in a watercoloring mood with this set:

cardstock:  strathmore  stamps:  neat & tangled winter trees ink:  zing white, fresh ink charcoal, watercolors

I wanted to create a simple watercolor scene with my first design.  Total high five on the postal friendly nature of the design.  The awesome Strathmore watercolor paper has such a lovely texture that I didn't want to disturb it by adding sequins or any other bumpy embellishments.

Next up, my epic fail in postal friendliness:

paper:  teresa collins tinsel & co, strathmore watercolor  stamps:  neat & tangled winter trees ink:  gold embossing, white zing, water colors  other:  paper accents vellum, canvas corp mini white clothes pin

While still playing with my watercolors, I fussy cut the trees and painted the trees PINK.  Yes, Pink.
