happy no. 50

Hello Hello!

I'm thrilled to be guesting for Butterfly Reflections Ink!  I'm a fan of both their BLOG and their SHOP.  I've been super lucky since the shop has been filled with so many new & fun goodies this month!  Make sure you check it OUT!

I snuck into my office this morning and took a couple quick photo's of the birthday card I made Darin:

cardbase:  michael's value pack  cardstock:  recollections/110/white, stampin' up night of navy  stamps:  avery elle/fly by  ink:  memento tuxedo, fireworks bahama blue, various copics, stampin' up white embossing powder  other:  avery elle/fly by dies, craft foam red/white, lawn fawn stitched journal card

Oh yes, as soon as I saw the Avery Elle Fly By set, I knew that I needed to buy it!   The banner has been heat embossed in white on Stampin' up Night of Navy.  The airplane has been colored in various shades of copic grey.  I did the ink smooshing technique using Fireworks Bahama Blue.  The clouds, are cut from white craft foam.

Here's a shot of the interior:

I can't seem to get enough of the craft foam!

Isn't this a fun new set by Avery Elle?!

I was inspired by Avery Elle's AEI♥U challenge

I've not been very good about blog hopping lately.  There's been so much going on the last couple of weeks, my life has been super busy.  Darin's 50th birthday festivities will be wrapping up tomorrow when the remaining family members will be headed home.  We managed to put together 2 birthday parties and a breakfast gathering...whew!  The kids and I will be traveling soon, more on that later.
