Hello and Welcome to the April My Monthly Hero Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from my awesome teamie, Mariana's blog! If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is the Hero Arts blog!
Today, the Hero Arts Creative Team + Special friends are featuring the gorgeous April My Monthly Hero!
Check it out:
contents:
A 4x6 clear stamp set.
A set of four Frame Cuts dies, designed to cut and stack the flower into a layered element. Stamp the rose four times to use with these dies.
A Paper Layering die, which allows you to pop-up a single stamped rose for a different dimensional look.
A dot sheet of DANIEL SMITH watercolors in a palette specifically selected for Hero Arts. Each dot of paint allows watercoloring of 2-3 images, to give you an introduction to these wonderful paints.
A waterbrush.
Heavy cardstock in cream and white, notecards
and pearls.
There are a couple optional add-on items:
CL980 Happy Mother's Day
DI190 Happy Mother's Day Frame Cuts
Today I'm featuring the optional add-on, Happy Mother's Day stamp set + some Daniel Smith watercolors:
I wanted to share the white embossed note card first. I adore that large bloom and isn't the contrast awesome between the white embossing and the lilac colored notecard? I did some quick masking and topped it off with one of the sentiments from the set.
Did you know that I'm embracing the color purple and well, enjoying it! My friend Michele, reminded me how green + purple work together...green is my favorite color! I was totally thinking of Michele when I whipped up this next card:
I colored everything with some Daniel Smith watercolors!
I used:
Spring Green
Cad. Yellow Deep Hue
Carbozole Violet
Graphite Gray
Guess what? Hero Arts is giving away one kit as a prize to one blog reader-selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop!
Next up is the Fabulous Kelly Rasmussen! Here's the blog listing in case you get lost along the way:
