Hero Arts is giving away one kit as a prize to one blog reader - selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop. Giveaway closes Sunday, February 12th at 11:59pm, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.
Here's the card that I made especially for today's hop:
I worked with the main kit today. I've always gravitated towards rain, rainbows, umbrellas....it's probably because I live in Washington State. Although truthfully, as I type up this post it is snowing like crazy. I knew that I wanted to use that girl with the umbrella and color her with a yellow raincoat and yellow rain boots. The orange umbrella pops with the Pool Mixed Layering Paper panel, doesn't it?
The sequin mix is from an earlier My Monthly Hero kit but psssstttt....in the new catalog there are some sequin mixes! They will be available in the Hero Arts store on February 14th!
In case you missed the Countdown to Creativity post from Saturday, I also shared this card on the Hero Arts Blog:
I love how the ombre rain showers turned out and who can resist a rainbow of umbrellas?!
Isn't the February kit FABulous?! Remember to pick up your kit TODAY because when it's gone, it's gone!
Next up is the wonderful Clare Prezzia!

What a great idea to make this into a shaker card! I love the sequins!

I love that you made a shaker card. So far you are the first one to do that. I also love that you used my favorite color in your card, yellow. Yellow is not used often enough is what I say and with this kit, yellow will be used way more then anyone ever does except me. My sister sells things with her photographs on them like purses and cosmetic bags. She even made some umbrella's but they were to expensive to make and sell all the time. I have one and it's amazing because the image on it is the inside of a kaleidoscope! I know you can't do that with your umbrella but if I had this kit and I hope I get to win one, I would put polka dots on the umbrella, boots and rain coat. Orange and green dots would be my first choice. then rainbow colors for a second choice. Great coloring and stamping and thank you for giving us a chance to win something. I can't wait!
