Congrats, it's your birthday | Mojo Monday

Masculine cards are tough for me, how about you?  I'm either designing cards with cute critters or coffee.  So this is as close as it gets:

I work in an office with 17 employees.  We'll be celebrating two February birthdays and I'm the official card maker.  I went through my stash and thought I might be able to pick out two but um,yeah, no.  I just didn't have anything I could squeak by as a masculine design.

I love how the Echo Park Paper - Coffee collection works beautifully for this card.   I teamed it up with a retired (sorry!) Calico Studio stamp set.  I've been setting aside the retired coffee stamp sets that I have.  I'll probably do one big giveaway but this set isn't going into the pile.

My card was inspired by Julee Tilman's Mojo Monday sketch:

Great masculine card! No. 1 son & daughter-in-law are requesting more masculine cards so I'm focusing more on NO flowers, lol! Geometrics, hot air balloons and my favorite, a copic colored salmon jumping out of the water are my go tos. My husband informed me that red mouths are not good for fishing salmon, boo, thought they looked more colorful!
