Here's how I was inspired:
I started off with the Essentials by Ellen Sweet Surprises bear and stocking. See that Partridge in a Pear Tree? That's from the Twelve Days set. Don't mind the friendly choke hold that bear has on the 'lil guy. I did some custom cutting on the bear, more on that in a bit.
I stuffed the stocking with images from the Holiday Characters set.
The tag is a trimmed down version of the Nordic Cross Cover. The 'hanger' is from the Reverse Confetti Inside Scallop Circle Tag.
The customized cutting on the bear that I managed to do gives you the sense that he's 'holding' the partridge. I stamped 2 bears out, one I die cut and colored. The other one, I cut away his arms, colored them and then used glue to tack them down. I made sure that his hands were free so that I could slip the partridge in his arm.
