Coffee + Kitties | Evelin T Designs

Hello and Happy Monday!  Can you believe this is the last week of July?  Where is the summer going?  I'm up on the Evelin T Designs blog sharing two cards, here's a peek at one of them.  I'm featuring the Coffee Loving Critters + Coffee Art sets:

I challenged myself to not use any black ink on this.  That's a challenge for me as I stink at no line coloring.  I always gravitate to black with my copics but thought that since this is a coffee themed project, the Memento Rich Cocoa would be perfect.

I started off with some quick stencil work using Distress Oxide - Antique Linen.  I fussy cut the stacking mugs from Coffee Art and the bunny from Coffee Loving Critters.  I've actually been enjoying fussy cutting these days.  It's been super relaxing for me.

I did my stamping on a Project Life Americana card.

See the boat?  It has been pieced with Cherry Veneer.  The chevrons were a part of the PL card so I used them in my little scenery :)

I absolutely adore the Carta Bella Ahoy There Collection....who can resist kraft with white stars?

This is totally Darin's valentine's day card...his favorite color is navy:)  

I don't tend to gravitate to navy for crafting but I love this Pink Paislee paper...I've been hoarding it...

I have a clean & crisp card for you!

I love the look of embossing...especially when there is a huge contrast:

I made this card for a new gal that started in our department yesterday.  Since I didn't know what she likes, I kept it pretty neutral.  Don't you love that feltie star?  That would be Spanish Wool Felt from thee Lorena Canto...

I'm guessing that you'll see this design alot...you can easily change up the feltie shape to create a whole new look....heart....bloom....
