This little piggy | Hello Bluebird

So I should know better than to quickly craft.  I whipped up this sweet card using the Hello Bluebird, Autumn Gatherings + Pig Day stamp sets:

Those guys are so much fun, aren't they?

Love the Grassy Knoll dies!

So I was originally inspired by the Just Us Girls color challenge:

I may have forgotten the orange (sigh).

hello | Hello Bluebird

Hello and Happy Tuesday.  Here's another spring inspired project.

I haven't inked up any of my Hello Bluebird sets so today I'm featuring Springtime.  I also used Gallery Frame #1 and Grassy Knoll Dies.  The hello has been die cut from (retired) Stampin' Up Wisteria Wonder.

The Distress Oxide ink blending background color combo is compliments of Nicola Meek.  It's a combo of:

Tumbled Glass
Spun Sugar
Spiced Marmalade
Cracked Pistachio

Doesn't it remind you of spring and easter eggs?  I grew up never egg dying.  I did it for the first time last year with my friend and my girl and it's our new tradition.  I've been sending my friend egg dying techniques as we're planning on gathering this weekend.

These are my copic combos:

R000/R01
R20
Y02/Y08
G12/G20
BV00/BV01
E40/E42

I was inspired by CAS(E) this sketch!

hello | Hello Bluebird

If you're a crafter, you might know how it feels when you finish a card that makes you happy.  Not because it's any special design but the images are just too stinkin' cute, that's this card:

Inking up another highly neglected set, Hello Bluebird's Pig Day.  Oh good grief, their facial expressions are killing me.  I combined a couple of the images from Autumn Gatherings.

The background was created by using the Grassy Knoll Die and the hello from the Gallery Frame Die #1.  The cardstock:  Stampin' Up Cucumber Crush and Reverse Confetti Iced Aqua.  The cardbase is Memory Box.

a note of thanks | Hello Bluebird

Hello and Happy Monday.  It's been an extremely busy several weeks and things are finally starting to 'slow down' for me, just in time for my boy to come home on Wednesday and then things will be busy again.  Yesterday I wanted to start my holiday thank you cards so I grabbed a bunch of different Hello Bluebird sets:

I managed to combine four stamp sets and one die set for this particular design.  I'm calling it my daytime version (more about that in a smidge).

I combined:

Fall Buddies
Autumn Gatherings
Joyful Mouse
Frosty Friends

Birch Tree Die

The blue background panel is from Echo Park Paper's Celebrate Winter collection.  The sentiment is from Fall Buddies.

My design was inspired by CAS(E) this sketch!

I had been wanting to design a scenery with purple mountains and a black background, a night version.

This one uses most of the same sets as above except I didn't use the Fall Buddies set.  Instead of the Birch Tree dies I used the Glacier Peaks die set.  The 'snow' is from the Hero Arts Confetti Bold Prints with Unicorn pigment ink.  A different color palette from before.

Those images are just so cute, aren't they?!

I'm super behind on everything because of the three coffee hops (Fall | Winter,  National Cocoa Day + International Tea Day).    My last batch of holiday cards will go out on Wednesday, then I'll switch to New Years and holiday thank you's.

Fa la la | Hello Bluebird

I had so much fun working on this project!  Isn't the Hello Bluebird, Christmas is Coming set so cute?

I managed to fit it all of the main images from that set.

I used the Gallery Frame Die #2, originally I did have the scallop border but decided to just use the outline on this one.

I doubled up the Fa la la from Christmas Words die #1.  So fun to top this off with some glittery goodness.

You know who is doing all the work in this scenery right?  It's that sweet squirrel carrying her coffee 💚

Any plans today?  We're hitting what should be a large Flea Market and then hitting this fundraiser.

Happy Fall | Hello Bluebird

Happy Saturday!  Any fun plans or do you get to craft all day?  I'm headed out to a Seattle Flea Market...hopefully followed by big pieces of cake.  Then later off to dinner + a movie.  Yesterday I designed three different projects.  Here's one of them:

I stamped up a bunch of the Hello Bluebird sets and ran them through my Scan n Cut.

Halloween Party  |   Autumn Gatherings  |  Fall Friends

I ended up pulling the main images from Halloween Party and picked out leaves and pumpkins from the other sets.

Those guys kill me with their cuteness!

The pattern paper is Lawn Fawn's Perfectly Plaid - Fall.  I'm trying not to hoard it since it's been discontinued but the colors are so awesome.

A Friendly Hello Trio

It's wonderfully Festive Fall in the Pacific Northwest.  The weather is perfect, sunny + 70's.  I wish it was like this year round!  It had me in the mood to make a trio of Fall themed cards.  This year I'm going to try something a smidge different.  Rather than trying to do a mass mailing in December, I'm going to try to spread it over October - December.

Fall is definitely my favorite season both in real life and crafting:

All the paper is from the Celebrate Autumn collection by Echo Park Paper.  Let's chat about my first card:

I combined various panels from the Celebrate Autumn 6x6 paper pad with images from the Hello Bluebird - Fall Friends stamp set.  The other weekend I had a fun time at crafty day with friends.  We used coloring pencils and it reminded me I had a basic set by Prima - Thanks Kimberly!  That fimo button was made by my friend Annette Allen!

Here's a card duo using ephemera from the Celebrate Autumn collection.  Do you spy the fun black poms from my stash?

In case you didn't know, tomorrow is National Coffee Day!

The fun starts on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog at 6 am pacific!

Just Bee-Cause

Hello and Happy Friday!  I have a just bee-cause card for today, no challenge just creating.  The sets by Hello Bluebird are so fun.  I'm featuring Bee Happy.

It has been teamed up with some vintage Cosmo Cricket paper, anyone recognize it?!  I've been doing a mega clean out of my Craft Room and told myself that if I'm going to keep the 12x12 papers, I need to USE the 12x12 papers.

For my card making friends, do you buy 12x12 paper or stick to 6x6 and 8.5x11?  Seriously, who can resist 'woodgrain' + polkas?
