Picket Fence Studios - First Birthday Party | Sale + Giveaway!

Good Morning + Happy Monday!  I'm so thrilled to be celebrating with Picket Fence Studios today!  They're celebrating their First Birthday with a month-long party!  Be sure to check their blog for all the designers that have partying up a storm!

Today I'm sharing a shaped card project.  Be sure to stay with me until the end of my post where I share some super exciting news!

I designed this project especially for today festivities!

I started with the Coffee Cup die.  I first cut it from a folded card base, leaving the fold at the top and just cutting right above it.

I inked up a panel with the Rough Around the Edges background and ran it through my die cutter with the Coffee Cup die.  I stamped that fun Hello, Beautiful flamingo and colored it with various alcohol markers and then die cut it.

To be able to tuck the flamingo into a stripe panel, I decided to coordinate the color with her hat.

Vitamin Sea | Picket Fence Studios

My friends at Picket Fence Studios sent me a bunch of goodies!  Today I'm featuring the A Dose of Vitamin Sea:

Nautical designs, I love them.  That whale makes me smile with her happy face.  I started off with a bristol panel that I used the smooshing technique with Distress Oxides - Peacock Feathers + Mermaid Lagoon.  I stamped the school of fishes with Versafine Onyx and heat embossed the jellyfish in white.  

Can you see the water fountain spray?  You can't quite tell by the photog but it has been heat embossed with Sparkle Powder.

Thanks to my friends at Picket Fence Studios...I'm loving the You Are My Sunshine set!  Here's how I was inspired:

I stamped out and cut two sets of the images but knew I needed to start of with this sweet one!  The sentiment is from the Forever & Ever set.

Can you spot the lavender dots on her dress?  Hard to capture it in the photography.
