Merci | Woodblock Wednesday + Guest Designer

Hello and welcome to the sixth edition of Woodblock Wednesday.  I'm featuring:

Savvy Stamps - Floral Jar [1404h]
A Muse Stamps - Merci [retired]

Here's how I was inspired:

I ended up doing a bit of mass production.  Honestly I consider more than 1 card of a design mass production.

Let's talk about this design first.  It features the Basic Grey - Adrift collection.  Oh how I miss Basic Grey.  I used a very simple design, easy to produce quickly.

The poppy looking blooms were colored with

Sugared Almond Pink
Pink Flamingo
Zig Blender

The petal filled blooms were colored with

Pale Pink
Pink Flamingo

This next duo features panels from the Basic Grey Persimmon collection, one of my favorites.

The image has been stamped on Bristol with Versafine Onyx Black.  The 'water' is:

Pale Blue

Each of the bouquets have one enamel dot.  The overall design is pretty clean + crisp so that bit of texture gives it a touch of interest.

I'm so thrilled to have Tonya Jastad playing along with me.  She's sharing two different designs, here's a peek at one of them:

She used the same main image.  For all the details on her project, please visit her BLOG IG.

Thank you so much Tonya for joining me today!  Her coloring and the addition of the sweet plaid panel is perfect!

Bonjour | Tracey Hey

So do you follow Tracey Hey?  She has a super fun IG filled with sweet stamps and alpacas!  I was so lucky to win one of her IG Giveaways and I picked the super CUTE set:  Frenchie

I stamped the main image in Pumice Stone on Bristol and did minimal coloring with Zig's.  Have you tried their Blender? Oh boy, if you haven't you have to check it out.  It moves around the color so nicely.  The pup has been colored with Gray Tint with Sugared Almond Pink for his cheeks.  The crown is a combo of English Lavender + Lilac.

The Memory Box Starry Nights stencil was inked up with Tumbled Glass with a Blender Brush.

The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx.  It's all nestled on a Stampin' Up Lost Lagoon panel.

That sweet puppy face, so cute.

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Final Day!

I can't believe it, today is the final day of the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  As I type out this post, there are 748 linkies!  This Paper Crafting Community is awesome...both the Sponsors + all the Paper Crafters!

Chaitali, my partner in crime coffee, reminded me that yesterday (National Coffee Day) it was 2 years ago when we had our very first hop!  2 years?!  WOW.

It's truly a labor of coffee love...all the logistics and communication...all the work is so worth it because everyone enjoys it as much as I do!

So I give you my final card for the hop:

So, I might have a 'couple' coffee, tea + cocoa sets/products.  It tends to grow a lot during the hop...I'm easily enabled and with so much fantastic inspiration...how can I resist?

So today's card uses Super Sponsor Newton's Nook  - Falling for You, available at Super Sponsor The Heart Desires!  I did some masking, I combined Ken Oliver Color Bursts and Zig Clean Color Markers.

The paper is by Simple Stories and the Scallop Frame dies are from Pretty Pink Posh - another Super Sponsor!

My card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches:

Have you linked up yet?!  Remember we have some awesome FLASH prizes...to be able for today's wave, you'll need to upload your project by 5 pm pacific!

Neat and Tangled January Release: Day Two

Hello and Welcome to Day Two of the Neat & Tangled January Release!

Today up on the Neat & Tangled blog is Perfect Blend/Dies + So Good To See You.

I'm featuring the New Perfect Blend stamp set on my blog:

Oh yes, I love this set by the talented May Park!  I've been in shaker mode and this is one of the easiest ways to create one...just add sequins and stitch a vellum panel over it.  Can you spy the gold thread?  I used Copper Penny + Snow White sequins.

Love the sentiments in this set...this has gone postal to someone special!  The coffee cup has been colored with Zig Clean Color Markers...and is 4.25 x 4.25.

Make sure you stop over to the Neat & Tangled blog for tons of inspiration & a chance to win!

somebunny sends smiles.

I've been having so much fun creating...here's a new to me set that I hadn't inked up yet:

Those Birdie Brown bunnies are just too cute, they're from the Somebunny set.  Gah, as I type up this post, I realized I forgot her sweet bow...I won't tell you how many times I had to photog this so for this photo session, she's going bowless.

I broke out the Zig Clean Color Markers!  Yay for new goodies!!!!!  They are so much fun!  Love how vibrant the colors can stay and perfect for small images.

I was inspired by the Curtain Call challenge (that is a bunny, isn't it?  or is it a cat?  I'm going to say it's a bunny):

My colors were inspired by Pals Paper Arts:

Hope to do a ton of stuff with the kids today...the boy leaves for NYC soon.
