Cup of Cheer | Newton's Nook Designs

I'm super excited.  I just booked a trip home for my boy!  We haven't seen him since Christmas and miss him terribly.  That's what inspired the theme of my card this morning:

Newton Dreams of New York is perfect for today.  My boy lives in Brooklyn.  I had to fit in the bagel and coffee too, of course!  The sentiment is from their Cup of Cocoa set.

I added the Reverse Confetti - Over The Rainbow confetti cuts because I'm in rainbow mode!

I dry embossed the pink panel with an old We R Memory Keepers graffiti embossing folder.

I was inspired by the current Inky Paws Challenge:

Party | Catherine Pooler Designs

I managed to whip up three card yesterday before driving around doing errands and having the kids over for brunch.  I recently picked up more of Catherine Pooler's latest release.  This time I'm playing with the Party Fans set:

This set will get easier for me to use as the stamps get stained.  It's a bit tricky when you use a soft color base and are trying to add the 2nd layer but I LOVE the results.

My Catherine Pooler Ink colors:

It's a Girl
Party Dress
Mint to Be
Aquatini

My center die cut is a Hero Arts Tag Frame.  I went a bit crazy with the gold stars.

The 2 larger fans have been adhered on top of the acetate layer for more easy movement of the shaker contents.

I was inspired by CAS(E) the sketch!

Get well soon | Lawn Fawn

Hey there, I was able to crank out one card during my Zoom Crafty session yesterday.  Usually I'm able to do more but this one had me challenged:

I know that it is the navy blue that is throwing me, I just don't do navy very much but I like how it turned out.  I used the Quilted Backdrop with a navy cardstock.  The Foursquare Backdrop was cut out of white and the bottom row was lined with a panel from Hello Sunshine.

The How You Bean jar was paper pieced with another panel from Hello Sunshine.  The sunflowers are a combo of Our Friendship Grows and Happy Harvest.

My intention wasn't necessarily to design a get well soon card but that worked best for my design.

Sending you Sunshine | Pretty Pink Posh

Happy Sunday, just sending a bit of sunshine your way!

I had that Pretty Pink Posh Cupcake Critters image already colored and waiting to be used.  I've teamed him up with a sentiment from the Tropical Birds set.

I used a Memory Box, Stars Starry Night stencil on the yellow panel and loaded it up with Rina K Designs Electro-Pop Orange Glow Neon Glitz by therm-o-web.  It's absolutely glitttery goodness!

The scalloped frame and sentiment flag are from the [retired] Neat & Tangled Scalloped set.  Affiliate links at no extra cost to you:

Warm Winter Wishes | Color Throwdown Guest Designer

I'm back with another month of guest designing for the super fun Color Throwdown If you've been following me for any amount of time, you know that I LOVE this challenge.  Check out this week's awesome color challenge:

Red
Dark Grey
Light Grey
White

Here's how I was inspired:

That cute snowman is from Evelin T Designs' Good Tidings to You set.  Isn't he adorable?

I wanted to keep the design super clean + crisp.  Although I did have to add a bit of glitter on the snowy slope.

The sentiment is from the Warm Winter Wishes set.

BeYOUtiful | Color Throwdown Guest Designer

I'm back with another month of guest designing for the super fun Color Throwdown!  If you've been following me for any amount of time, you know that I LOVE this challenge.  Check out this week's awesome color challenge:

Navy
Pink
Green

Here's how I was inspired:

Have you seen the Reverse Confetti January Release?  Those critters are from the Cheerful Pals set.  So cute, right?

I incorporated the navy with the die cut stars from the same Cheerful Pals set.  The pink is more of a Rose palette from Reverse Confetti's earlier release Every Little Bit 6x6 Paper Pad.  I was determined to use that pattern panel for my card today.

I recently had the 'conversation' with my Crafty Friends that stitching is icing on the cake, check out the confetti cuts I used for today's card:

Stitched Squares
Stitched Rays
Nuts About You [stitched landscape]

I was going to color the grassy landscape with my copics but decided to just keep it white.  LOVING all the stitched white panels.

The copics I used:

RV000
RV17 | RV19
G000 | G00
W00 | W1
