Color Throwdown: Featured Stamper | Guest Designer

I was so excited to be the Color Throwdown Featured Stamper HERE.   I'm a guest designer for this week's challenge:

The colors are simply PERFECT for me!  Two shades of green with aqua?!!!  Here's how I was inspired:

I had sooo much fun designing this card!  I've had a couple Lil' Inker Designs goodies that I needed to crack open:

The sentiment is from Lil' Inker Designs, Coffee Talk 2.

All the cardstock is Reverse Confetti:

I can't wait to see how the Color Throwdown Team was inspired!  I hope that you play along too!

Spellbinders August Card Kit | Let's do this!

My friends at Spellbinders sent me the gorgeous August Card Kit:

Isn't it gorgeous?!!  The colors and theme are right up my alley!  Here's my first card:

Okay, that watermelon eating sloth?!  Love her!  This design uses the paper and die cuts from the kit.  I didn't use anything else!  The kit comes with adhesive and card bases!

My second card features some of the dies that come with this month's kit:

I used the same card design as my first card but decided to not use the floral panel on this one.  Love the contrast in textures between the yellow panel and the pink woodgrain.  The sentiment is from a sticker sheet that was included in the kit.  I did use enamel dots from my stash, they matched perfectly.

A big thank you to Spellbinders!  I can't wait to design more projects using this fabulous kit!

Graciellie Design | Hello Sweet Friend

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  My kind of ice cream, pretty and calorie-free!  Loving this digital design by Graciellie Design - Sweetness:

The pattern paper is vintage Studio Calico.  Love the pop of greens

Reverse Confetti | Happy Birthday Jen!!!

The Reverse Confetti design team is throwing Jen del Muro a fun birthday hop!  You should have arrived here from my teamie, Heather Hoffman's blog!  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning which is Amy Kolling's blog!

I've had the opportunity to meet up with Jen twice at CHA/Creativation.  This is from January 2018:

She's absolutely awesome and I'm so lucky to call her my friend💚

Here's my project for today's festivities:

I was actually inspired by a recent card designed by Jen, more on that in a smidge.  I love that she has coffee themed stamps and the Caffeinated Cups set is a classic in their design.  I stamped the to go cup on a panel of Iced Aqua cardstock.  The coffee has been stamped in Dark Roast.  I paper pieced the coffee sleeve.

I think another classic is the Blooms 'N Buds set, I stamped the base of the leaf in Iced Aqua and the detail work in Tangerine.  The sentiment is from the Birthday Wishes set.

I love the Stitched Rays Cover Panel confetti cuts.  Mine has been trimmed down just a smidge.

I was inspired by Jen's card HERE:

So cute, right?!

I was also inspired by Freshly Made Sketches:

I can't wait to see how my teamies were inspired!  Next up is the fabulous Kathy Schweinfurth!

Your Next Stamps | Guest Designer | August Sneak Peeks!

Hello!  It's the Your Next Stamp August New Release tonight.  They're also celebrating their 9th birthday and I'm helping to celebrate!

Today we're sharing sneak peeks!  Don't forget that tonight is the New Release Blog Hop!  Stop by the YNS blog for a full list of blogs with peeks!

I'm sharing a project that features:

I teamed it up with the Birthday Girl 6x6 paper pad.  The stencil was in my stash, and coordinated with the paper that I used.

My card was inspired by the latest Your Next Stamp challenge:  (I rotated it)

Be sure to come back at 10 pm eastern/7 pm pacific for the New Release Blog Hop!

Just Bee-Cause

Hello and Happy Friday!  I have a just bee-cause card for today, no challenge just creating.  The sets by Hello Bluebird are so fun.  I'm featuring Bee Happy.

It has been teamed up with some vintage Cosmo Cricket paper, anyone recognize it?!  I've been doing a mega clean out of my Craft Room and told myself that if I'm going to keep the 12x12 papers, I need to USE the 12x12 papers.

For my card making friends, do you buy 12x12 paper or stick to 6x6 and 8.5x11?  Seriously, who can resist 'woodgrain' + polkas?

Reverse Confetti August Creative Hop

Hello!  Today is the 8th of the month which means it's time for the Reverse Confetti Creative Hop!  Today's theme is Pattern Paper!  I decided to feature the Paper Bliss 6x6 Paper Pad.

Love the color palette in this particular pad, it definitely reminds me of summer time.  I combined the panel with the Stitched Rays Cover Panel.

I used the All Framed Up confetti cuts with Salsa cardstock.  The Pineapples Aplenty was used with the following inks:

Salsa  |  Bumblebee  |  Parakeet

I couldn't help but add that sticker that I had in my stash, love the hula girl.

I teamed up my card with a bit of a giftie.  I'm a coffee-a-holic.  These Hula Girl Coffee sleeves make for a fun giftie.  They fit perfectly in the Treat Tubes.

I used Salsa Cardstock for the Treat Tube topper.  The Polka Panel confetti cuts was teamed up in Bumblebee and Salsa cardstock.  The Mahalo stamps and coordinating confetti cuts was perfect to top off that panel.  The images were stamped in Dark Roast.

I also used the following inks:

Salsa  |  Bumblebee  |  Parakeet  |  Sand
