Reverse Confetti | FALL • IDAYS + SALE | Day Two - Thanksgiving

Hello and Welcome to the Reverse Confetti FALL • IDAYS 3 Day Blog Hop & SALE!  Today's theme is Halloween | Fall.  I went with full on Halloween:  You should have hopped here from my super teamie Tricia Barber, if not, you'll want to start at the beginning which is the Reverse Confetti blog.

Today I'm sharing a hoop art project:

This was made especially for my 92 year old friend (former Mother-in-Law).  She recently moved into an Assisted Living Community and I thought this might perk up her apartment.  I'm a big fan of hoops, they're a great way to whip up a project, really just a smaller canvas than a card.

I'm featuring the Fall Foliage stamps and coordinating confetti cuts.  I spotted an extra leaf leftover from a previous project and managed to stamp out 2 more leaves from my color burst watercolor panels.

I mounted everything on a Sand panel that I embossed with a distress plate.  I finished it off with the scallop Edger.  The bottom layer is a smidge of RC Aqua.  To bring out the aqua color even more I found a coordinating custom button made by Jane Beljo.

That's it for me, next on the hop is the awesome Deanne Kuntz.

Reverse Confetti | Happy FALL • IDAYS + SALE | Day One - Halloween

Hello and Welcome to the Reverse Confetti FALL • IDAYS 3 Day Blog Hop & SALE!  Today's theme is Halloween | Fall.  I went with full on Halloween:  You should have hopped here from my super teamie Tricia Barber, if not, you'll want to start at the beginning which is the Reverse Confetti blog.

I combined a bit of new with old.  Let's start from the bottom of my card.  My base panel is Midnight.  I layered two pattern paper panels from the Abundant Autumn 6x6 paper pad.  I cut the Boo to You confetti cuts in Tangerine + Midnight.

All the other images are from the Frightening Friends set.  They have been stamped in black ink and colored with various copics.

That's it for me, next on the hop is the awesome Deanne Kuntz.

Happy Fall | Lawn Fawn

Hello and Happy Sunday!  Posting a bit late, I was going to post with on another day but decided to go ahead and post it today:

THIS card by Kim Singdahlsen had me so inspired.  I love how clean her design is, I started adding this and that to my card and it became, not so clean + crisp but full of caffeine!  I used the much hoarded Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Fall paper.  The Happy Fall Line Border was cut from Neenah Solar 110.

The Mini Picture Frames were cut from Reverse Confetti:

Dark Roast  •  Bumblebee  •  Rust

The Love You A Latte cups were stamped on Neenah Solar 110 in Lawn Fawn Jet Black and colored with various copics.

My card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches:

You should have arrived here from the fabulous Ilina Crouse's blog!  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning which is The Ton's blog!

I have several projects to share with you so let's get started!  First up is the Holiday Chic Tags Stamp Set:

I designed two tags and mounted them on A2 card bases.

My first one uses the horizontal stripe background.  It's been heat embossed with Rose Gold.  I teamed it up with the Hug in a Mug stamp set and the Coffee Word Die.  I mounted the coffee cup on a circle die for it's saucer.

My next card uses the other stripe background + one of the sentiments:

In keeping with the same base palette, I heat embossed these stripes in the same Rose Gold.

The sentiment has been stamped in black and fussy cut and mounted.  One of my favorite sets is Always Cherry Blossoms.  They've been stamped in black and colored with various copics.

My next project features the new Blizzard Hugs stamp set:

Yup, I ADORE this set.  Check out that ginormous snowflake!  I love how it has an interior detail stamp (in black soot).  The teeny tiny snowflake in the middle is a separate image in the set too.  Tons of Rose Gold embossing on this one too.

My final project is with the Coming Up Poinsettias set:

I know...if you've been following me for any amount of time you'll be shocked about all this purple business today.  I've been really enjoying coloring with a couple of the purple copics...in real life it has a dreamy look to it.

That's it for me!  I can't wait to hop around and check out everyone's projects!  Next up is the talented Tae Eun Yoo!

Have a Cool Yule | Essentials by Ellen Challenge + SALE!

Happy World Cardmaking Day!  How are you going to celebrate?  I actually did a pre-party yesterday and crafted all day...in my jammies.  YES!  Here's one of my projects, I was channeling my inner Julie Ebersole.

I may have purchased the Ellen Hutson - Essentials by Ellen - September Release and finally got to play with some of the new goodies!

The Alpine Window by Julie Ebersole is FANTASTIC.  So fun and lots of options.  Check out this YouTube that explains some different ways to use this set.  I decided to design a spherical scene with dimension.

I cut each layer out with Neenah Solar White 110.  They've been colored with copics and then covered with Hero Arts Sparkle embossing powder.  Oh that stuff is AWESOME.   I like to think that the little house now looks like a gingerbread house :)

I backed the scenery with a layer of Hero Arts Decorative Woodgrain Vellum.  Isn't the Essentials By Ellen Oyster Gray 100 lb lovely?

I topped my tag off with the Oyster Gray cardstock and did a bit of embossing on the bottom with the Sparkle powder.  The sentiment is from the new Mountain Holiday by Julie Ebersole stamp set.

My card was inspired by the September Essentials Challenge:

Spellbinders | Hello Fall

Thanks to my friends at Spellbinders for sending me the October Small Die of the Month:

This set of dies is truly amazing!  I designed this card using the beautiful acorn:

Super easy to put together and that acorn top?  I upcycled a Starbucks coffee sleeve.  Isn't the texture perfect for my overall card design?  That persimmon Echo Park panel is on foam adhesive.

Can't wait to design more cards with those fun dies!

Here's my project that I designed especially for today's hop:

I used Reverse Confetti's Moon Men stamps and coordinating confetti cuts.  They've been stamped in black and colored with various copic markers.  See the background?  I'm a fan of the 'Smooshing Technique'.  I load up an acrylic block with distress oxide ink, one color at a time, starting with the darkest color first.  Spritz the ink with water and smoosh your panel into the ink.  I dry it between colors with my heat gun.

I finished off the panel with speckles of black + white Kuretake Gansai Tambi paint and Copper Peerless Paint.  My card measures at 4.25 x 4.25 inches.

I can't wait to see what my friend Donna Mikasa designed...hop over to her blog next!

If you get lost along the way, Milka has the complete hop listing on her blog!  A big thank you Milka for the invite 💜

Stand by You | Confetti Camera | Reverse Confetti

I'm so excited to be up on the Reverse Confetti blog for the Confetti Camera feature!  I'm sharing a giftie duo, here's a sneak peek at my card:

I used the Think Pink stamp set + coordinating confetti cuts.  My card base is Midnight.  I used RC Teal along with the stitched square in the Bag & Tags Creator confetti cuts.

Super happy how my background turned out, I used the Wonky Double Edge Scallop as a mask and blended Distress Oxide ink with a mini ink blending tool.

Please pop over to the Reverse Confetti blog to see my complete project!

I love you...

The Simon Says Stamp - STAMPtember More than S'mores was patiently waiting for me to ink it up.

Love this fun collaboration with Heffy Doodle!

Funny thing, I must not have had enough coffee this morning.  I started coloring this like it was the raccoon, not the squirrel.  So she's become an Eastern Grey Squirrel.  I adore the fluffy animals in this set, so cute.   I teamed them up with the highly neglected Tim Holtz/Sizzix embossing folder.  The card base and panel are Memory Box chipboard.

The pattern paper is Echo Park Celebrate Autumn.  The images have been stamped with Lawn Fawn Jet black and are nestled on a Stampin' Up Merry Cafe coffee cup.  Check out the interior:

(Chuckling) Love how the sentiment turned out.

I'm linking up to Fab Friday.  My card was totally inspired by Mindy on the Fab Friday team.
