crabby before caffeine | The Rabbit Hole Designs

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  The other day I received the latest caffeinated release by The Rabbit Hole Designs.  I inked up Caffeinated Crab:

Love his expression!

I have a ton of 12x12 paper.  I'm trying to use it...the blue panel with the fish is by Echo Park Paper but I'm not sure who make the coral design (edited to add, thanks to Michele, Authentique - Seaside)?

The crab was colored with various copics and the sentiment was heat embossed in white on black cardstock.

I was inspired by Sunday Stamps:

Here's how I was inspired for this month's challenge:

I just picked up a couple bunches of daffodils from Trader Joe's.  It's what inspired my colors in today's card.  Yellow + Purple are a great color combo for Spring, don't you agree?

I used a panel out of From Cupid.  I layered Sunshine panel and then Premier Polar White panel that was die cut with the Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel, trimmed down.  I use the smaller frame in the Stitched Note & Frames set in Premier Polar White and layered images from Hatbox Florals.

I love all that stitching!  I cut a vellum panel with one of the tags from the Tall Tag Trio and heat embossed the sentiment from Tall Blooms in charcoal.

Originally I didn't have the Sunshine Panel or the Diagonal Stitches Panel.  The added white really makes those blooms pop.  I've been really lovin' the look of the peekaboo solid panel too.

I can't wait to see how some of my other teamies were inspired!

Bottomless Thanks | Miss Ink Stamps

Have you heard of Miss Ink Stamps?  They're a brand new company that will be opening March 16th. Read about them HERE.  You'll be seeing quite a bit of their new  designs on social media, including projects by the awesome Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Design Team!

Today I'm sharing a card that features the new Brewtiful set:

You may remember my earlier design using the same set HERE.  I decided to go a bit mixed media on this one.

I absolutely love the coffee plant images in this set.  I love the contrast between the colors.  I started off with a watercolored background using Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass.  I then used a Stampers Anonymous Mini Stencil with modeling paste.  I'm such an impatient crafter, it always seems like it take forever for that stuff to dry.  Once it was, I stamped the caffeine molecule.

I added all the other images and sentiment to my design.  Yes, my favorite color is green.

Good shoes | Fun Stampers Journey

My friends at Spellbinders  |  Fun Stampers Journey sent me their March Stamp of the Month Club kit.  Check out the awesome Good Places set:

Here's how I was inspired:

I stayed with an overall navy and yellow color theme.

My first card features one of the windmills from the Going Places set.  I've teamed it up with the Bright Days embossing folder and Honeycomb stamp:

The sentiment has been heat embossed in copper to coordinate with the brad I used from my stash.

My other card was fun to design with the pops of yellow.

I stamped the clogs on the lighter cardstock with a navy ink.  I layered a circular vellum panel with some the die cut clogs and heart.  Love that sentiment, don't you?

I'm so sad that when the kids and I visited the Netherlands that we weren't able to check out any of their gorgeous windmills.

March New Release Creative Blog Hop | Reverse Confetti

Today is the day!  The Reverse Confetti March Release is now available for purchase!  We're celebrating with a hop!  You should have arrived from Heather Hoffman's blog, if not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is the Reverse Confetti blog!

Here's a peek at all of the new products:

What a fantastic release!  It's all available
 HERE.

I have a card trio to share with you today!

Those that have been following me for any length of time know that I love coffee, in all forms.  I couldn't resist  using the previously released Drink More Coffee set to feature some of the new confetti cuts from this month's release!

I used the following Word Duo sets:

Hooray & Cheers
Hello & Thanks

I also added the Stitched Hex Tag to each of my cards. First up is the RC Aqua + Grape Soda designs:

I love how bright and cheery that duo is.  Those colors make me happy, how about you?

I had to really think on this green coffee cup.  The Lime Green + Avocado cardstocks were off just enough that I didn't want to use them.  I ended up doing a bit of upcycling.  The kraft panel is actually the back cover of a Reverse Confetti 6x6 paper pad.  I cut the thanks from a coffee sleeve that I had in my stash.

Does this make you look at my card a smidge differently?  I topped off my card with a bit of twine.  The other two designs have the punched hole on the bottom so that the coffee cup covered it up (wink).

Here's a peek back at my earlier projects for this release:

I can't wait to hop around and see how everyone else was inspired!  Next up is my teamie, Kathy Schweinfurth!
