The Ton is celebrating their first washi tape release with two new washi tapes! There are some free gifts with purchase promotions ongoing. Head over to The Ton Stamps' blog for more details.

These tapes are custom designs based on Effie's very own floral watercoloring!

You should have arrived here from the fabulous Svitlana Shayevich's blog.  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is The Ton's blog!

I have to tell you, these washi tapes are GORGEOUS.

Here's how I was inspired:

These washi's are so much fun to play with.  I combined the Pink Peonies with the Hustle and Grind Sentiments.  The sentiment has been heart embossed in charcoal.

I adhered a strip of the washi on a Neenah Solar White panel.  I loaded it up with my embossing buddy.  I made sure that my heat gun was super hot before starting the process and kept moving it in a circular motion.  There was no disruption with the metallic details on the washi.

I placed a smaller oyster cardstock layer on top.

I couldn't resist doing an envelope liner too!  What do you think?!

Check out my project that uses the Wildflowers:

I decided to keep the overall design that I used for my first project.  This time I used a sentiment from The New Pretty

I heat embossed the sentiment in black.  I love how it POPS!

I can't wait to hop around and see how everyone else was inspired!  Next up is the amazing Lisa Harolle!

Countdown to Confetti Day One | Reverse Confetti

It's the start of the Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti!   You are going to be amazed at all of the new products for this month! Please note that new product links will not be active until release day/time.

This month we welcome the following designers  as our 'Fetti Friends:

Today  we're featuring:

Word Up stamps
Hatbox Floral stamps + coordinating confetti cuts

I'm also featuring:

Stitched Note & Frames confetti cuts

Here's how I was inspired:

I started off with a bristol panel and blended Peach ink.  I used the Lotsa Dots Stencil with modeling paste and set it aside to dry.

With a panel of Premier Polar White, I used the new Stitched Note & Frames.  I used the smaller frame for my design.

I stamped the main image from the Hatbox Florals and colored it with various copic markers.  I used the coordinating confetti cut.  I selected my sentiment from the Word Up set and heat embossed it in white on a midnight strip of cardstock.

I can't wait to hop around and see what my teamies designed!  Leave a comment on all the sneak peeks post for each designer.  Comments will close at noon CST on March 7th and there will be a $15 Gift Certificate for one blog commenter and also one FB commenter.  Make sure you pop over to the Reverse Confetti Blog for all the details!

Hap-Pea Birthday | Lawn Fawn

Hello and Happy Saturday.  I have a fun interactive card to share.  I manage to ink up some of my new Lawn Fawn goodies too.

I combined the Hap-Pea Birthday and Butterfly Kisses.  I also have a Reveal Wheel Spring Sentiment.

I feel like it is really four cards in one:

I love the Spring Fling + Really Rainbow Scallops Petite Paper Packs.  If you think you don't need the Reveal Wheel templates, you're mistaken.  It makes that piece of the process a snap.

Why yes, that fox is swinging off of that pea pod.  That is totally something that my boy would do.  Those peas kill me.  I love the one with the glasses.  That's hubby.  This is for his upcoming Birthday.

I'm linking up to Seize the Birthday:

I managed to incorporate The Toppings - Make Us Laugh.  Who doesn't love a pun or two.

Another year taller | My Favorite Things

Hello and Happy Friday!  I made this birthday card especially for my Momma.  For those that know my family, you'll be chuckling because, well, we're all very petite.

I adore the BB Birth-Yay set.  The critters always draw me in but that 'Another Year TALLER' sentiment...hilarious.

I was inspired by MFT DT, Anna and her way of designing her panels.  I used the Stitched Scallop Basic Edges with the white panel.  I've been loving the MFT Extreme Black ink when I use my copics.  I generally use the C00 family but the hippo has been colored with  W00, W01 + W02.

I'm linking up to the MFT Sketch Challenge:
