Let's do some shots | Essentials by Ellen

Last week I had the pleasure of picking up my Essentials by Ellen order from Ellen Hutson LLC.  How lucky am I that I can pick up my orders?!  Truly grateful for that and that I can chat with Ellen + the fab employees too.

Today I'm featuring the new Everyday Doodles + Everyday Punnies sets:

This is even more funny if you knew that I don't drink, well I drink tons of coffee but not alcohol.

Aren't you loving that fun color palette.  Those Catherine Pooler Inks are amazing.  The colored layers were done once in my Mini MISTI.  Such awesome inky goodness, eh?

I've been literally hoarding that floral panel of paper.  I decided it was time to slice into the 6x12 panel that I've been keeping for a bit.  My friend Kimberly gave it to me because she's awesome.

I was inspired by CAS(E) this sketch!

Brave Fearless Strong | The Ton Stamps

Hey Happy Sunday!  I wanted to play with The Ton's washi:

Isn't it gorgeous?  I've teamed it up with The New Pretty.  One of my favorite sentiment sets!

The sentiment has been heat embossed with Hero Arts' Copper.

I love You and Coffee | Stampin' Up + Lawn Fawn

Happy Friday!  I have a quick card that I put together this morning.  I haven't recently taken an inventory of my caffeinated sets but I have a ton.  I wanted to challenge myself to use the (retired) Merry Cafe in a non-seasonal way.

I'm loving the Hello Honey + Lost Lagoon combo.

I decided to use the Lawn Fawn Wavy Savings.  That coffee ring, compliments of a coffee mug on my craft desk LOL.

I was inspired by the current TGIF Challenges:

A big shout out to Paula for her card that truly inspired me!

Mom | Reverse Confetti | Stock Your Stash

Have you seen the Reverse Confetti challenge, Stock Your Stash?!

This is a chance to create a card to keep in your stash.  (Of course, you could send it off right away!).  Each month will bring a new theme.

There will be a new Stock Your Stash challenge posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.

The link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 29th of the month.

Reverse Confetti stamps and/or Confetti Cuts are required to win.  This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps.  Anyone is welcome to play, though!

You may enter as many times as you wish.

Use #SYSChallenge when playing along with this challenge.
There will be a random winner selected each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store. The winner of challenge will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog at the end of the month.

Here's how I was inspired for this month's challenge:

I had so much fun designing this card.  I love florals but I don't design a ton of floral cards.   When I saw this via email from Rifle Paper Co, I was thoroughly inspired.

I stamped out all the images from the Reverse Confetti Build A Bunch set and went ahead and colored them all.

Can you tell that I've been practicing my blended backgrounds?  This one is:

Worn Lipstick
Spun Sugar
Scattered Straw

I backed the blended background with a gold glitter panel.  The Mom from Mom & Dad Word Duos Confetti Cuts has been cut from the same gold glitter cardstock.  I filled up my card with a combo of shaker fillers.  My Momma is going to get a kick out of this.  I don't think I've given her a shaker card yet.

I can't wait to see how my teamies were inspired:

hey | The Stamp Market

Hey!  Getting a late start this morning.  I managed to 'sleep in' until 5 am!  So I whipped this card up after a couple cups of coffee and a quick breakfast.

I haven't played with The Stamp Market's Bloominous set or their new papers.  Have you noticed the trend of non-colored images?  I love that look but honestly, I felt like coloring those stamped images.

Did you notice that hot pink pedestal plate?  We found 2 of them at a sweet shop in Brooklyn....my boy has the twin.  It's his favorite color and well, how could I resist?

April Creative Hop | Reverse Confetti

Hello!  Today is the 8th of the month which means it's time for the Reverse Confetti Creative Hop!  You should have arrived here from my teamie, Heather Hoffman.  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is the Reverse Confetti blog!

I'm in full springtime mode and couldn't wait to design a card trio:

I started off with the Stitched Squares Confetti Cuts.  I used pattern paper from:

From Cupid
Every Little Bit
Fun Times

The white panels are Premier Polar White.

Let's start with this one that uses a From Cupid polka panel:

I used images from the following sets:

Spring Pals (frog, duck, tulips + grass)
Honey Bear (tree/apples, clouds + bee)

Next up is my scenery using the Every Little Bit paper pad:

I used images from the following sets:

Spring Pals (bunny, carrots, duck, tulips + grass)
Bearing Gifts (mountains)
Greatest Adventure (trees + tree stump)
Cured (heart banner)

Here's my final scenery card that uses a panel from the Fun Times 6x6:

I used images from the following sets:

Spring Pals (sheep, duck, tulips + grass)
Holiday Gnomes (homes + tree)

Whew!  I had so much fun putting together these scenery cards.  They're all 4.25 x 4.25...lots of foam adhesive (=not postal friendly).

I can't wait to hop around and see what my teamies designed!

Next up is the fabulous Kathy Schweinfurth!  In case you get lost along the way, the full hop listing is available below!

oh, happy day | SugarPea Designs

Hello and Happy Sunday!  As I type this up on Saturday morning, not quite 8 am and I'm on my 4th cup of coffee.  Today I'm featuring SugarPea Designs - Parisian Holiday.

This set is so fun, love all the images in it.  I teamed it up with the Coffee To Go Cup - Sugarcut.  The main cup panel is white but I did back it with a stone panel to bring it out a smidge.

I love the glittery ParisScape.  The Postage Stamp SugarCut is wonderful.  I used it on the white center panel but also managed to use it as a coordinating border cut on the Stone cardstock panel.

So I may have taken the Mix It Up Challenge a bit literal:

That color palette makes me a happy crafter!

Today I'm featuring the new Beautiful Branches set.

I had so much fun with this stamp set.  I love that branch of blooms and wanted to color them in different colors.

The first one is featuring a vibrant raspberry color.  I started with the distress background first, compliments of Kristina Werner:

Spun Sugar
Picked Raspberry
Wilted Violet

I love the 'hey, girl' sentiment and added the 'you got this'.  I wanted this to be super sparkly so I added the gold glitter panel.

My 2nd card features lavender blooms:

The background is Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry.  I added water droplets and gold ink splatters too.

It's been wonderfully sunny + springy in the pacific northwest so I've send these out to some pnw friends.

That's it for me, now hop over to the super talented Brenda Noelke!  In case you get lost along the way, here's the complete hop listin:
