Friend | Altenew + Simon Says Stamp + My Favorite Things

Hello and Happy Sunday.  I've been busy wrapping up Coffee Blog Hop stuff along with preparing for my pending vacation.  I started this project last week and finally put the pieces together this morning:

Surprisingly this card has no stamping.  I originally thought I was going to stamp a sentiment but then went with the Painted Friend die.  I've been incorporating gold glitter cardstock in all my projects lately.

Isn't that Altenew Peony Dream 3D Die amazing?  Thank goodness for the step-by-step photos.

I was thoroughly smitten by the Inspired By...challenge:

Comfort and Peace | Le Petite Market + SugarPea Designs

My cousin owns several Alpacas (See Here, Here + Here).  She reached out to me last weekend to see if I might design an alpaca sympathy card.  A friend of hers had recently lost their rescue alpaca.  She picked THIS digital set by Le Petite Market.  A couple other cute digi's jumped into my cart too.

Here's how I was inspired:

I managed to design 2 different cards with two different size images (the beauty of digitals!).  First up is the portrait version.  I used Stampin' Up Pistachio Pudding cardstock and layered an Avery Elle striped panel.  The sentiment I used on both cards is SugarPea Designs - Heartfelt Sympathy.

My second version is landscape with a Stampin' Up Pool Party panel layered with a Basic Grey - Hey Boy (Gasp, I know) panel.  I heat embossed the sentiment in white.

Color Throwdown | Guest Designer

I'm super excited to have been the Color Throwdown Featured Stamper #541.  Today I get to be the Guest Star Stamper today for the newest Color Throwdown!  Such a fun color trio of Aqua, Green + Grey.

Here's how it inspired me:

I recently picked up the Newton's Nook - Newton Dreams of Paris.  After visiting my boy in Paris a couple of years ago, I'm slowly collecting parisian themed sets.

I stamped them out on Neenah Solar White 110.  They've been stamped with Lawn Fawn Jet Black and colored with various copics.

The MFT Double Stitched circle has been cut with Reverse Confetti Baby Blue + Avocado cardstock.  I trimmed the Avocado panel to a grassy hill.  I stamped the Eiffel Tower directly onto that panel in black.  The cloud is from the Reverse Confetti Cool Friends set.

This has been my go-to card sketch.  I've been enjoying making sweet images the star of the show.

I can't wait to see how you're inspired!

Last project - 2019 Spring | Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

We just wrapped up the Friday FLASH Prize Party over in the Coffee Loving Papercrafters FB group!  Such a fun group of caffeinated crafters!  The Spring | Summer Coffee Lover's blog hop?  A total success, there are so many gorgeous projects!

I'm popping in her quickly to share my last project for the hop.  I'm crossing my fingers that we can beat our 2018 Spring | Summer record of 1,355.  If not, we're definitely in 2nd place!

I did a mash of different companies for this card:

Avery Elle
Kat Scrappiness
Miss Ink Stamps

While editing these photos, I couldn't figure out why I had the Kat Scrappiness, Let's Get Caffeinated set in the picture.  Then I remembered...

I redid the photo with my stamped envelope.  I also included the dryer sheet I used for the Kat Scrappiness Coverplate.  Love using that technique!  My die sandwich:

Kat Scrappiness Peacock Backdrop Die (face up)
A2 panel
folded dryer sheet (unscented)

I ran it through my Spellbinders machine twice.  It compresses the dryer sheet onto the A2 panel and you carefully peel it away and voila!  So much LESS mess than having all those bits all over my workspace and floor!

Thanks to everyone for stopping by!

Day Seven - 2019 Spring | Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!

Tomorrow is the final day of the 2019 Spring Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!   I have a project that I can't wait to share with you:

When I popped into Impress during their Anniversary Sale, I picked up the cutest things!  Today, I'm featuring two of the stamp sets:

Impress Seattle Rain
Flora & Fauna Mini Sloth

I had so much fun putting this card together.  I used my exacto knife so Mr. Sloth could carry his mondo coffee cup.

That corrugated floor is an upcycled Starbucks coffee sleeve.

I was inspired by The Card Concept:

STYLE:  Clean and Layered

So my plan is to get a bunch of cards done and posted tomorrow.  I have so many coffee sets that I want to use!!!!  Work has been busy and the admin of the hop is busy so that doesn't leave me much time or energy to create for this hop.

Today is the day!  The Reverse Confetti May Release is now available for purchase!  We're celebrating with a hop!  You should have arrived from Julee Tilman's blog, if not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is the Reverse Confetti blog!

Here's a peek at all of the new products:

What a fantastic release!  It's all available HERE.

Here's my project today.  I combined some of the new release products with the previously released Coffee and You set:

I made the ice cream truck into a coffee truck!  Those little pups were sharing an ice cream sundae which I swapped with a latte.

So what do you think?!

The background consists of a Buttercup panel.  A Piggy Bank panel was cut with the Split Circles Cover Panel.  To create the scenery window, I used the Square & Circle Frame confetti cut in Midnight.

The sentiment is from the So Many Sentiments set.

Here's a quick peek at all the projects I shared for this awesome release:

I can't wait to see what Kathy Schweinfurth designed for today!  In case you get lost along the way, here's the complete hop listing:
