Here's a peek at my first project:

The Joys of the Season set has so many fun images.  I picked two of them and made them the stars of show.

First up:  candy canes

The base is a Premier Polar White panel with a Sand panel layered on top.  The sentiment has been stamped with Midnight.

I went with a bit of a retro color combo:

R21 | R22
G40 |YG23
B0000 | BG11

I used the same overall design for the holly leaves + berries but also used the new Square Window Tag Confetti Cuts.

I love the softer coloring palette with the white + sand:

R21 | R22
G40 |YG23

Next up is the Joyous Holiday set.

I know, those angels are stinkin' CUTE.  I had so much fun coloring them:

R20
Y04 | Y08
G40 | G12
BV0000 | BV00
E000 | E30
E11 | E21

My overall color palette is:

Pistachio  |  Mist  |  Grape Soda

September Countdown to Confetti Day Two | Reverse Confetti

It's the Day Two of the Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti!   You are going to be amazed at all of the new products for this month! Please note that new product links will not be active until release day/time.

This month we welcome the following designers  as our 'Fetti Friends:

Today we're featuring:

Halloween Gnomes stamps + coordinating confetti cuts
With a Thankful Heart stamps + coordinating confetti cuts

I'm also featuring:
This & That 6x6
Trick or Treat confetti cuts

Here's a peek at my project:

You've heard about the old lady that lived in a shoe?  This is a Gnome that lived in a pumpkin.  Or perhaps her garden has been growing so well that the pumpkin grew bigger than her home?  Okay, let's chat about my super busy card.

The base is a Grape Soda panel with a panel from the This & That 6x6.  I stamped out the various images from both With a Thankful Heart and Halloween Gnomes.

My original plan was something altogether different but this little scenery makes me a happy camper.  Do you spy the web on the pumpkin?

The peek-a-boo gnome, pumpkin and sentiment have been adhered with a tape runner.  Everything else is on foam squares.  Do you like the skull tombstone?  Such an unpredictable scenery for me.  Love that bat with her rosy cheeks.

I've doubled up the trick or treat with Midnight behind the Grape Soda.

I can't wait to hop around and see what my teamies designed!  Leave a comment on all the sneak peeks post for each designer.  Comments will close at noon CST on September 7th and there will be a $15 Gift Certificate for one blog commenter and also one FB commenter.  Make sure you pop over to the Reverse Confetti Blog for all the details!

September Countdown to Confetti Day One | Reverse Confetti

It's the start of the Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti!   You are going to be amazed at all of the new products for this month! Please note that new product links will not be active until release day/time.

This month we welcome the following designers  as our 'Fetti Friends:

Today we're featuring:

Peony stamps + coordinating confetti cuts
Sentimentally Yours stamp

I'm also featuring:
Stitched Circles Cover Panel
Blessed confetti cuts

Here's a peek at my project:

I adore the new Peony set.  The main bloom is big + beautiful!  If you didn't know, green is my favorite color.  One of the color combos I love is green + lavender so I went with that color palette for this card.

My bottom panel is lime green followed with a Midnight panel that has been cut with the Stitched Circles Cover Panel.  I cut a basic oval in the center of my Premier Polar White panel trimmed down a bit from an A2.

I stamped out the various images from the Peony set and colored them with the following copics:

G40
YG23 | YG25
V01 | V12

I cut the blessed in Grape Soda and Midnight and stacked them a bit out of synch.  The sentiment from Sentimentally Yours has been stamped in Midnight.

Tribute to Craftin Desert Divas | Coffee Loving Cardmakers + Giveaway!

I'm playing over on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog with my Teamie Lisa Bzibziak.  She's doing a tribute to Craftin Desert Diva's.

I wanted to play along and inked up their Love Your Mug set:

So many cute images in this particular set.  My favorite is the little mouse with the french press!

I bought a handful of things from CDD's clearance sale but didn't end up using them for this particular card.  I'll be back with another card!

I was inspired by the CAS Colours & Sketches:

Here are some other Craftin Desert Diva's cards I made earlier:

I wanted to thank Tara + Craftin Desert Divas for being such wonderful inspirations.  Tara has been a consistent Super Sponsor for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hops too.

It's the Little Things | Woodblock Wednesday | Guest Designer + GIVEAWAY!

Hello and welcome to the 7th edition of Woodblock Wednesday.  I'm featuring:

Paper Source - Terrarium Stamp [871747]
A Muse Stamps - Little Things [retired]

Here's how I was inspired:

These are my favorite types of plants, stamped.  I have a horrible black thumb but love succulents.

The coloring is so soft on the image that it might be hard to tell but the interior of the cloche is pale blue.  The succulents are the softest aloe color with lavender tips.  When I ordinally started to color this image I couldn't find my copic chart so I went with my Spectrum Noirs:

BT1 | HB1
GG1

I later found my copic chart [my desk is a bit messier than usual] and the interior of the cloche is:

BG0000

My base is a Slate Gray panel by Essentials by Ellen.  Do you see the bit of Mist by Reverse Confetti?  The grid panel is by Stampin' Up, love that it is a bit distressed.

I'm super excited to introduce my guest for this week, Ivy Wong.  You can find her on IG HERE.  If you know Ivy, you know that she is a plant-a-holic.  I've known Ivy for years, we officially met at CHA/Creativation when it was in California.  She introduced me to the 85°C Bakery!

Isn't her card so much fun?!  I love her stamps!!!!!!

Let's do a bit of a giveaway, shall we?  I happen to have a brand new Hero Arts Succulent Terrarium stamp:

Want a chance to win it?  Leave a comment on this post along with my Woodblock Wednesday IG post + Ivy's Woodblock Wednesday IG post.  I'll publish the winner next Wednesday!

A Halloween Hello | Reverse Confetti - Stock Your Stash | September 2019

Happy September!  How can it be September already?  The summer is racing by.  I'm up on the Reverse Confetti blog with my teamie Lisa!  I ended up designing two different cards for today so I'm sharing one of them on my blog.  This month's Reverse Confetti Stock You Stash Challenge is:

Halloween | Fall Fun

Just keeping things real, my intention wasn't to design two separate cards for today.  I was being a bit optimistic when I stamped and die cut all those cute images.  I had so many that I needed to create two different cards.

My overall color palette is:

Tangerine  |  Lime Green  |  Iced Aqua |  Grape Soda

My first card features a polka panel  from the Abundant Autumn 6x6 Paper Pad.

It has images from the following sets:

Frightening Friends
Nuts About You
Too Cute to Spook

This card has a stone landscape strip using the grassy hill die from the Nuts About You Confetti Cuts.

I can't wait to see how you're inspired.  Fall inspired card themes are one of my favorites!  To check out my teamie Lisa's fantastic project along with my 2nd card, please visit the Reverse Confetti blog!
